View Full Version : DiBella wants Khan-Malignaggi
He's quoted as saying on the scene that he wants to get Malignaggi (Majonajo if you're Lennox ) a fight with Khan. If not then against Marquez if he loses to Mayweather. Not sure if that would happen though.
It was reported the other day that Salita and Maidana have to fight each other in some sort of final eliminator so I guess this would allow Khan to make a voluntary defence.
Do you think Frank (or Roach) will go for Paulie? Or will they go for someone else?

If Frank had any sense in him he should make this fight and put it on the Cotto-Pacman undercard. ASAP
Bob's got the Cotto-Pac undercard sorted. He wouldn't give two Top Rank fighters a slot on the show if there's nothing in it for him.

Malignaggi is far too seasoned for Khan at this point in time, IMO. A few more bouts under Khan's belt and this could be a good fight for both but not just yet. The news on a Salita-Maidana eliminator sounds too good to be true for the WBA, though:lol:.
I fully expect Team Khan to choose another opponent for the time being:good.

Yep, I don't see ****** wanting to show off Khan in the USA and have him fight an awkward bugger like Paulie.

Mallignagi would be right up Khan's street. Someone who isn't capable of KOing anyone.
The question IMO isn't would Khan want it, it's would Mallignagi want it, it would be a genuine make or break fight for him. Khan would still have options if he lost.

Khan can win this fight on his lead and footworkl... it is a great fight for TV exposure and options...
The Magic Man went to the well v Cotto and will never dig out another performance like that again IMO...:yep
Will FW and Team Khan roll the dice on this one...??..:think

i'm picking khan but this fight is fairly close....diaz was supossed to be the high power output guy, and paulie out threw him by 200....because paulie kept him at bay, and diaz had to chase paulie most of the night.....i have a feeling khan would be chasing as well....and eating about 10 jabs coming forward....khan will have to win this on the inside....and we have to see more of khan at 140 but i have a feeling he is just as featherfisted at 140

This is a good fight for Khan. Malignaggi is back in the picture due to his controversial loss.
Is the undercard done? who is fighting on it?
Daniel Santos-Yuri Foreman
Jesus Soto Karass-Alfonso Gomez
Humberto Soto-Edwin Valero (if Valero gets cleared to fight in Nevada)

paulie would out box khan easily
:lol::rofl
Who you guys kidding..I'm sure Frank would lap it up...its an easy fight. Look at the styles, its easy and Malignaggi is not at all dangerous.
Have a feeling Khan's next opponent will be M'Baye

just about the perfect balance in terms of risk/reward for khan, easy win for a good payday.

NO MAS, khan may vacate (although i don't think he will) but no way is he going back to 135, there a lot of big fights at 140 not to mention that chin at 135, plus roach would have non of it. light welter is best for him, he has the frame to even go as far as light middle imo. going back to 135 would be suicide.
