Common man, stop that shit of the illegal handwraps, everybody knows the referee and one person from the opponent verify that before every fight. Don't be ridiculous, Tito was not the better boxer outthere but had a hell of a punching power and heart.

Its already been proven he used illegal handwraps. Just because he got away with it before dont make it alright.

I love Trinidad but the guy was a one demisional fighter, great offense no defense. Hatton's maniac brawling style would shock the classic boxing Tito,
Hatton would swarm and smother Trinidad's punches and stop him in the 9th.
Hatton's style is not the most pleasing to watch but it is very effective, you
can see the holy shit look on the guys faces that fight him in about the 3rd
round. Tito's lack of versitilty and his useless father trainer would lead to a long night and body shot stoppage.

At welterweight ? Tito would just destroy him like he destroyed every other man he fought at 147 (except Oscar De La Hoya whom he got a gift decision).

Hatton is to small for Trinidad. Hatton is successful at 140. He may be able to win a fight here and there at 147, but that is not his division.

This is kind of like wondering how Duran would against Hearns. Or De la Hoya against Hopkins. Or Meldrick Taylor against Terry Norris.

Trinidad is way too big. Hatton is just a little guy compared to him. Hatton's more like the size of 130-140lbs fighters. Trinidad is nearly 6ft tall and more like a natural 154lbs or even a middleweight.

hatton is the same or more one dimensional than tito, you need to be a pure boxer to defeat tito, hatton will get murderee by a big stronger harder puncher tito.

Come on, of course it's Tito by TKO. Stylistically Tito would be as bad as it gets for Ricky

Those hooks would find a home against the charging (but not for long) Hatton. Basically, I'd favor just about any elite WW over Hatton at 147. I think the other thread about Hatton vs. Cotto at 140 is more fair to Ricky.

C'mon man that's not fair..Hatton is a natural 140 pound fighter. Trinidad is too powerful and physically strong for Hatton. Tito KO2 or 3

Fighting Weight

Hatton ain't a welterweight, Tito (who is an all time great welterweight) would absolutely murder him.

I'd go with Tito. Ricky is only 1-0 in title fights at welterweight and he struggled to win against a lanky guy who wasn't as talented as Trinidad. Ricky is awesome but he's more of a jr welterweight and Tito is a natrual welter. Tito also proved he can fight well at Jr Middle and Middleweight.
