I would only give Williams a chance and that is if you are counting him.

Well then no-one in the current 147 division can beat Leonard.

No one from this crop...not even a close fight, any of them.
Technically I suppose Mayweather is coming back at the welter limit.. If you include this one its a fight I see being somewhat difficult for Leonard to dominate but no more then competitive in the end.
Leonard wins it wide.

Ray Leonard not only cleans up the current crop of Welterweights, but he dominates the De La Hoya, Mosley, and Trinidad era also. So does Hearns. Two of the very best 147lbs to ever grace the ring since Napoles and Ray Robinson.

No1.
EDIT: Does Pacquiao count as a "147 pounder"? (seeing as he apparently is fighting at a catchweight)

Doesn't make any difference if he did, Pacquiao wouldn't even last as long as Margarito in a fight with Ray Leonard.

Pretty easy work for Ray in a technical sense...Not all one way traffic physically, as Shane is hard to top in this regard.
But he would be schooled from start to finish..The occasional flurry and bodyshots would get Leonard's attention, and probably the judges, but it would be the Forrest fight repeated but probably worse given Leonard's better offensive array and quicker hands.

Leonard would have torn Williams a new arsehole. None of the current crop, Mayweather included, would have a prayer against him. And I don't especially like Leonard.

If he was still in his prime, he would get one.
But we're talking about the ancient Mosley of today, in which case I'd say the answer is no.

The prime, power-boxing version of Mosley would likely give Leonard, or anyone for that matter, food for thought. Such a maelstrom of speed, power and physical prowess is never easy to offset. Leonard still wins comfortably though.

Ray woulda beat the shit outta tall Paul.
Theres NO ONE at 147 currently that beats a prime Leonard. Not Mosley, not Floyd, and sure as HELL not Cotto, and Clottey. And Berto? Ray woulda stopped him within 3.

This I agree with. The 2000-2001 Mosley would give Ray a tough fight. But in the end I think Ray woulda edged him out by a few points.

In the last 25 years the only two welters who I see giving Ray real trouble are a prime Mosley, and a prime Curry.
Ray beats everyone else clearly.

I would pick Leonard over all of them ultimately. Mosley always at his best can make an interesting fight for the eyes, but i just don't see him winning many rounds. In a technical sense, coming forward, Mosley works well, bodyshots and all, but Leonard can handle that and will. Leonard probably has a better jab and would be taken to the trenches by Mosley pressing the fight, but Leonard would still win, would be a fight rather than a chessmatch though.
I think Leonard would stop Cotto, whichever style Cotto adopts, there's no chance imo.
The Pacquiao fight would be very good, imagine how explosive, i have to pick Leonard though.
Margarito would get punched too much.
Clottey would also be there to get hit, trying to establish a jab he would likely just get hit when he is open and countered.

If Leonard stopped Hearns (who is faster than Margarito) he would stop Tony before the 10th round :yep.

Leonard knew he could hurt and stop Hearns, trying to box him would be more dangerous.
Trying to KO Margarito is in no way the tactic I see Leonard using, why would he need to give Margo the chance to get a shot off on him!?!?! Leonard was no fool, he could've boxed his ears off blindfolded.
Margo's a joke and Hearns's is an absolute legend....but Margo has a world class chin despite the Mosley fight. Mosley KO's him because he stood and traded (as he always does), I just don't see Leonard adopting those tactics.
