I just read that Clottey vs Collazo will be added to the nov 23 card. The two camps are about to sign off on it...it will be an IBF eliminator match. The winner faces Cintron.:happy great match!

Collazo will probably outbox Clottey; i consider CLottey fairly 1 dimensional
either way - a good card and a great eliminator bout

I like Collazo. I picture him boxing Clottey's ears off.

This fight could be a WAR.

I doubt that. Both guys are light-hitting and never really load up on their punches...
That being said, they are both durable and have good skill. Clottey has a better defense IMO, but Collazo has a slight advantage in the offensive category. I have to go with Collazo b/c he just went 24 hard rounds with Ricky Hatton and Shane Mosley - two world class fighters. Plus I think he's just a little tougher and has more heart than Clottey...
Collazo UD Clottey in a tactical fight
Who said you need to have power to war?
The are both durable fighters who can box but don't run. Don't be suprised if Clottey stands in front of Collazo and Collazo obliges to ruck.
They could both be tactical but they could just as well war.

Good fight and a dangerous fight for both fighters. They could both probably easily wait around or fight a couple of easy fights and eventually have a title shot given to them. Proud to see two fighters trying to earn their title shot. :good

Clottey wins this fight.
I don't think many of us would pick Collazo to be Margarito - and Clottey was winning that fight before hurting his hand.
Clottey has pretty good speed to match Collazo and he takes a pretty good shot. Remember - he's only lost to Margarito (because he hurt his hand) & Baldomir (by a questionable DQ). No one has really beaten the kid - so I'm going with him.
Where did you read about this fight? - cause I've been hearing that Clottey could fight - Collazo, Cintron, & Margarito.

I think Collazo will destroy Clottey especially if Clottey workrate drops after the first few rounds like it did in his last few fights but...I am not too sure if Collazo will be able to defeat Cintron. I think Cintron vs Collazo would be a very interesting fight and I can't pick a winner.

Exactly baby. Collazo is still the most underrated welterweight, especially for folks who have only seen him fight 2 rounds with both his hands in tact against Mosley.
He'll box circles around Clottey and then do the same damn thing to Cintron.

I agree that he can beat Clottey, but Im not sure if he can get past Cintron.

I think that Kermit is WAY too one dimensional for Luis, and Luis would use angles all night long to frustrate and outclass Cintron.

I think he beats both, especially that overrated Clottey.

collazo by UD clottey is too slow
Is it me or is cintron ducking williams, clottey and margarito, because i thought he was supposed to fight either guy in his next bout, but now he's fighting feliciano on the undercard of mayorga vs vargas nov 23rd.
Collazo would outclass clottey and cintron.

Following the modern trend of knocking out a contender guy for exposure.
Collazo would outclass clottey and cintron.
I agree.
And I actually think he would give Cotto a whole lot of trouble as well.

Clottey might be able to catch Collazo who has trouble making 147. But, if he does make weight comfortably, I take Collazo by UD.

He has plenty of time to prepare for this one, which was not the case against both Hatton and Mosley.

I believe that Cintron is improving on his boxing everyday since teaming up with Emmanuel Stewart. You can see improvement in every one of his fights. We all know Cintron is a slugger who has 1 punch KO power but now that he is improving his boxing skills he may be too tough for Collazo....but I am still not sure. It is a pick'em fight. I can't choose a winner. I like Collazo and I think he is an excellent fighter and he is from my neighborhood but I have to admit that he may be in too deep with Cintron. Collazo vs Rivera was a classic!!! (I went to see that one in person). I believe Collazo could school Margarito, Clottey, Judah and a lot of the others at 147 and I even believe he may be able to surprise Cotto....but Cintron may be too tough for Collazo.

collazo by UD clottey is too slow
Too slow???? :huh Clottey is very fast for someone as big as he is

That's something i mentioned before and i think cotto should have fought a well schooled fighter like collazo instead of judah, because collazo has a pretty good chin,,great boxing skills, strong, very good stamina and i think he'd take those bodyshot's from cotto, just like he did with hatton.
I think collazo could possibly end up beating cotto by sd or ud.

Clottey definitely has trouble making 147 as well. I remember his unofficial weight against Corrales was 170lbs.
