We've seen how dominant Pryor was at 140...
We've seen how good Pacquiao's Power is at 140...

Who would be the one with the hands rising?

This matchup was just done on the main forum yesterday.

But in any case, Manny is the GREATER fighter, but in his brief prime Aaron Pryor was a monster.

Manny would probably score a KD, or two early, but in the long run The Hawk would prove too strong and relentless for him. Pryor TKO 11.

No one will agree but Pacboy wins a tough UD here. He's faster, has better footwork, hits harder, punches straighter, can match Pryor's pace, better defense. Pryor is a better thinker, relentless and has some underrated skills. Pacquaio's shots would find Pryor and that always spells problems for his opponent plus Pacquaio would land first more often than not.

Yes he's only had 2 fights above 135 but what performances they were.

I think Manny holds his own really well, but over time I see Aaron asserting himself. In the end, Pryor is ultimately too strong and relentless for Pac, scoring a 12th round TKO.

At this point in time, I believe you have to favor Pryor to win this one, probably by stoppage.

Pryor looked like shit against southpaws. He had very poor defense against a left hander. Hinton arguably beat him, and Kameda had him down and made him look bad enough that he was made the underdog against Arguello. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Manny was simply all wrong for Pryor.

Aaron Pryor is considered by many to be one of the best junior welters ever. Pryor's drive and tenacity are legendary.

Pacquiao is still making a name for himself, but he has convinced boxing's viewing majority into declaring him to be the sport's current best.

Pacquiao is very lean at 140, and though he has not had enough opportunity to prove his strength above 130, it is safe to say he is no weakling. Pacquiao has yet to take any significant damage above 130, so questioning his durability here is understandable.

For me, speed is the key difference here. Pacquiao can match Pryor's work rate, and is fast enough to beat him to the punch. Those that think Pryor would over power Pacquiao have viable opinions, and I understand their doing so. Still, I would take Pacquiao by decision. Pac Man beats Pryor to the punch often enough to win a decision.

I think Pryor would go all out. I'm still convinced that Pac can hold a good shot above 130, I say Pryor stops him late.
