Hey

Right let me start by saying I need to sort someone out. I'm not a horrid terrorist and I don't approve of street fighting to get the better of someone but it revolves around someone i'm very close to and I need to sort him out to succeed.

I'm only 15 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall and 9 stone in weight. This other lad is 19 years old, 5 foot 11 inches and around 13 stone - he used to do martial arts too but has quit now.

I must do this, so please just try to support me here...this lad needs sorting out and everyone else seems to be afraid of him except me. Yes someone i'm extremely close to (same age as me) is involved, and I think it's wrong for this to carry on so i'm going to put a stop to it!

IMPORTANT! *I need to preferably have him in 1 PUNCH, a cheap shot, from behind. I have an EXTREMELY POWERFUL BACKHAND PUNCH, especialy when I wear MMA hand-protect (undergloves) gloves. When I do it on my punchbag I feel it would knock someone clean out,because I can hit him from behind smack on the cheek (best place to knock someone out).

So shall I go for it? i'm really sure i'd have him with just this 1 extremely powerful and quick backhand punch from behind to the cheek/chin. THANKS!

There's this 17 year old that comes to a class that I goto that I talked to last night. Real misguided kid with not much hope. The only reason he took class with me is because there's a group of guys that constantly JUMPS HIM for basically no reason besides he's a panzy that won't fight back!!! They pretty much beat him one on one I take it, but the others are there to make sure the fight is in the favor, he said the police won't do anything, his family won't do much, etc. Sad, sad story. I told him though that you gotta be a man, and you can't let somebody hit on you. He said if he hits one the others will jump him, and I told him let them jump in! Standing there and letting one guy do with you as he pleases (til he's tired of beating you) is a lot worse than going down with a fight (no matter how many people there are). So, I taught him for about an hour yesterday how to fight, and told him over and over...When this guy confronts you before he gets to you I want you to tell yourself over and over "HIT HIM! HIT HIM! HIT HIM!" and next thing ya know your gonna hit him!...and then let loose of your emotions from there. Told him to not hurt the guy to bad since his friends will jump you if you do...Simply prove to them your a man, you aren't gonna take shit, and that you will fight if you have to. If the others want to jump on you "tell them there scared, and to fight you one at a time." So, guess I'll see what the boy does, but I got a feeling he's gonna surprise himself. I'd love to go with him, but the kids are underage, and I'd get in to some deep shit. So, I can't be with him, and can't do his fighting for him, but I can give him the mindset, and skills so he can defend himself.

I'd say that if you throw a slow power punch he'll be able to se you and dodge or punch you back; a fast jab aiming right to the nose can end the fight if cold blooded (and if you have a proper jab)

Interesting thread, If your going to sucker punch a guy, your better make it a good one. The best thing to do is confront the guy, tell him what you want, if mouths off, take a swing and try catching him with his mouth open, you at least stand a better chance of breaking his jaw or at the very least taking some teeth with you. I dont claim to be toughest, but I have been in my fair amount of street fights, and they never end well, win or lose.

I would really think twice before fighting this guy, unless he did something terrible to you or your family. In my last street fight in May of 07, I dominated the guy, I got the first punch in as always, he tried covering up, so most of my punches were either blocked or partially landing blows, so I ended up getting up against a car, and was able to pick him up enough to flip him over my leg, making sure I didnt hit the pavement with him, from there I stepped to the side of him and gave him a few more blows on the ground, and a final knee to the chest to end matters.

By the way, even though I won the fight easily, my right hand was so messed up a couldnt close it for weeks, I couldnt hit the heavybag for 3 months and couldnt life weights with that hand for 2 months as well. I woke up every morning with severe pain for a month, and to make matters even worse, I jammed my big toe so bad from kicking him, I couldnt walk right for month or so. He also threatened to take me to court through the internet, claiming he was going to sue me for time off of work and medical expenses, so I was terrified of that for months as well.

All the years I thought fighting mattered, and that it solved so much, this past fight changed my mind entirely. I was a fucking bully who had his ass handed to him once or twice, but still didnt learn my lesson until just last year. Fighting just isnt worth it, unless your pushed into a corner and have no choice, if you love fighting, go to a Boxing gym or join a MMA fight club.
