Just think of any fantasy fight that you would see a late KO happening.

Jose Napoles vs Paul Williams. Williams would last till the 13th round due to his height and reach, but Mantequilla would find his chin in violent fashion and end it in the 13th.

Muhammed Ali versus Mike Tyson. Tyson would swarm out and try for the knock out. Ali's chin would hold up. In the later rounds Tyson would be spent. He might last through 12. But Tyson would not make it through 15. No way.

i was thinking about this fight yesterday.
I think Arguello would gie Duran a hell of a tough fight, i think in the end Durans natural size would win but imagine if they was both SFWs

I'm just coming to the end of Kid Berg's autobiography, The Whitechapel Windmill, a great read and a great fighter.

Lewis-Liston is a goofy pick to say the least. I will say though that most top 5 contenders in history though would stop the Liston circa Henry Clark/Leotis Martin in the late rounds though.
Frank Bruno is also a strong candidate to be stopped late by more than a few people

Best lightwelter! Wouldn't argue with that.

I don't think so. They're going to be throwing bombs from the outset and I don't think either man could take the other's firepower for long.

1. Holyfield vs. Frazier
I can see Holyfield's superb later movement, boxing and occasional brawling actually paying off in a very late stoppage in a very competitive fight.
2. Trinidad vs. Hagler
Tito's power and underrated durability depsite the potential for early KD's will see him to the late rounds where he'd inevitably be behind and discover that Hagler is too big, too strong, and too skilled. This fight would never see the cards, but I do believe it'll see the late rounds.

Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Zab Judah @ 140
I don't think Cotto would last more than a couple of rounds against the Duran of Montreal. Referee or corner stoppage with Miguel in a hell of a state saves him from the imminent KO blow.
