Two fighters never stepping down, giving it their all.
Well done Simpson and Truscott, you just done British boxing proud again.

Yep, well done to both fighters. Truscott can come out of that fight with his head held high, IMO:good.

British FOTY so far beyond question - probably the best domestic fight since Moore vs Macklin.
Simpson ought to be looking at Lindsay or European level - Trussy needs to get on the weights as McCrory has been saying.

Was a good fight but really you knew Simpson would win despite Truscott having some good moments. As sky say though (and this time it's not bullshit) it's a great way to kick off a cracking series of fights.

Slip, are you mental, mate? Fury-McDermott, PBF-JMM, Brook-Jennings and Moore-Rhodes to name just a few. You certainly chose a time to ditch Sky Sports considering what we've had in the last 3 months or so!

It was a very good scrap. Truscott's face was fucked (wiped his face in the ref a few times as well!) and you could forgive him for pulling out but he wanted to carry on. He was taking too much in the end, though, so it was a good stoppage.
Check your PM's:good.

Appleby-Lindsay was much better, IMO, but others in the other threads have disagreed. It was still a very good fight, though.

I accept that I'm in a minority, though. D-MAC agreed with me on the Appleby-Lindsay fight being the British FOTY thus far but I don't think anyone else did! I still think it was better but tonight's fight was still very, very good:good.

I think I'm in a minority thinking that the stoppage in that fight was extremely premature, haven't seen it in a while though.
