They should fight in Cronulla, Tony would need a knock out to earn a draw.

I agree , he must KO him if he wants to win. The dodges will be in the Tarver way. The same was also with Elvir Muriqi who was better and was robbed in the end.

At the moment it's in the US, but he said theres still a chance it could be in Aus, i guess they have made a substantial offer and tarvers management is considering it....

I'll be rooting very strongly for Green. I'm still pissed at Tarver for avoiding Dawson.
DG can win, too. Tarver is very close to being finished.

if Green can land effectively then it will be good night for Tarver. I share your sentiments on the milk dud teke.

I think Tarver is going to greatly under estimate Green just like Beyer did in their first fight. And look what he did to Beyer before the disgraceful headbutting debacle.

Green has to do the damage early, get a hold of tarver before he settles down and finds some rythm. I'm unsure as to how he would handle the later rounds if he let them slip away, as he has a combined 14 rounds under his belt since the step up to LHW. In saying this I'm confident he can deliver and he definatley has a punchers chance if his (and tarver's) latest form is anything to go by :good
GO GREENY! :bbb

Eels, mate you seem to get really bothered by any mention of danny green? We all know he's a bit one dimnesional but even so it always comes across as if its a bad thing? I quite like the way he fights and I figure if it suits him then whats the problem? I get the feeling that even if he were to start jumpin around like prince naseem you still wouldnt let all this go.. time to get over it? :think

he knows he isn't the worlds best boxer so why try to be? when you knock guys out as easily as he does then use your strength. agreed it is better to watch than someone running scared all night and "hanging on" to their title (not referring to anyone here).

Don't worry about eelstool, he has a reputation with embarressing himself commenting on fighters and fights he has never actually seen, poor guy always goes to places where there aint no wheel chair access, so he has to make up shit for someone here to donate apple sauce for him.

Nah, Danny KO's bums easily and always has. If that is what you mean by it works for him then OK. However, his robotism is what gets him smashed by average boxers like Mundine and Beyer and Lucas for 4 round till his old heart gave out and his injured back slowed him down. His plan B which is plan A with a little bit more desperation has never been successful when called upon.
I like giving Danny stick because he is popular with the rednecks around here like Oztriker, MSTR and JB1. And those people stick. Often I fight a lone battle. But that is OK because I take stringth in knowing I am right.

Pecks - thanks for the concern but win lose or draw I will be fine, the worst that can happen is the law of probability will play out and I will take what comes of that without unreasonable concern either way
I think Danny is gonna take a beating aswell, might put $20 on it

Actually I use the credit card as a mechanism to move funds around my accounts uncluding my betting account. I am touched so many people are concerned.
So what would you predict the odds should be for the fight?

man parting with 50 large would fuck me up - i think tarver will be the fave and paying about $1.90 so he could potentially double his money which would be awesome :D
im going to put a bet on holyfield because he is paying $4 for the win :hey

The betting market in Australia is a relatively illiquid so unless it was a major fight like Mundine vs Green where big volumes of cash was being held I doubt one could get $50k on even if one wanted to. The biggest bet I have ever made was $12k for Mundine to beat Green, $15k on Mundine to KO Soliman and the same on Kessler to KO Beyer. I have lost $35k in the last six months (still ahead so all is well) so its fair to say that if you play with fire sometimes you get burnt.
I will be interested to see the odds on Green vs Tarver. I think Tarver might be a very good value bet

Ivery much doubt you'll get value for Tarver i think he'll start at about $1.40 so you'd have to probaly back Tarver by ko to get over even money and since you did your cash last time hoping danny would get ko'd i'd leave your money in your pocket this time:good

Yeah i have a feeling Calzaghe will beat Kessler easily on points.....i think he might just be a little too quick and frustrate Kessler.
I'm backing Calzaghe on points but may put a little saver on Kessler KO as well.
