Nice to see mate. regardless of you thoughts on Joe this is superb. The DelMonte thing had me in stitches. nice to see a Calzaghe fan not taking it seriously. Kos will be crying over this. FarmBoxer will have a heart attack if he's took time to stop wanking over Calzaghe/manfredo

Why?

Just because I defended him in the past and cheered him on his last few fights, doesn't mean I am a big fan of his. Heck, I wanted him to be knocked out in his early days (I remember watching in anticipation for Mitchell to knock him out after dropping him :yep).

Dan, you didn't want Mitchell to win though did you, in fact you were rooting for Calzaghe :D

Don't even go there. The Klitites will declare war. Anyway, I hate to see grown men cry!

The interviewer doesnt mention once how boxing has suffered since his retirement, like how poor its become recently.
The song, "going to miss him when hes gone" springs to mind.

That vid is funny as fuck. It's made by some guy with multiple YouTube accounts, called bobsinno. He always does these annoying FOX NEWS ALERT posts on every Calzaghe vid. He does it all day, every day and I think he's a bit of a sadcase, but credit to him, I found that vid funny because of the patter in it.

i can't dispute that this is very funny, and there are certain elements of truth (what he said about roy jones jnr in his book, and then fighting him), but i can't buy into the fact that Calzaghe is so poorly regarded, and that every one he fought was a "bum" and "club fighter". It just sounds like sour grapes from someone who just has a genuine dislike for another human being.

This is a proper quote from Dan taken from another thread to prove that he is a closet Calzaghe fan:

If Calzaghe fought Ali, he wouldn't gas a'la Foreman and unlike Foreman Calzaghe doesn't have a china chin. Calzaghe wide points decision

:p
