Mines collection is as follows.....(Smoochp wut up!!)

Ray Leonard(I have at least 20 of his fights)
Terry Norris (Around 28 fights)
Roy Jones Jr.
Felix Trinidad
Miguel Cotto
Shane Mosley
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Juan Manuel Lopez
Yuriorkis Gamboa
Chad Dawson
Koki Kameda (Yes I actually have his collection )

Manassa

Marin Hagler career (27 fights)

DeAgostini DVD collection (130 fights?)

Various, ranging from Arguello-Escalera I & II (courtesy of JohnThomas) to Napoles-Cokes I & II to Monzon-Briscoe II (45 fights?)

Plus various general DVDs, clips and highlights from another 100 fights.

So it's pretty small now, but I did have a lot more on my old computer before it crashed and burned forever - there was about 1500 fights on there ranging from 1900 to 2008 with lots of rarities.

So nowadays I spend quite a bit of time on Youtube.

not bad guys...my collection is pretty weak in comparison. mostly specific fights

arguello, chavez, ward, gatti, whitaker, ali, louis, leonard, duran, holyfield...just select fights from each. like manassa i've watched a shitload from the internet. not the same but still pretty good

I don't have that many DVD's but I do have a rather large boxing film collection. I accumulated quite a few myself and inherited my Dad's, Uncle's, and brother's collection. I haven't even watched some of them. I should really go through them all and get some put on DVD's professionally.

Ive got a box set of Duran fights..which I think had like 60 fights in it. Chavez career set which, had about 50 fights. I didnt specifically buy a Sweet Pea set but I have most of his career on dvd..apart from a few of his early fights. Got a fair few Tyson, Holyfield, Monzon, Barerra, Bowe, Arguello, Olivares and Tito fights...mostly just the more important ones.

Got about half of McCallums fights on DVD.

After that Ive got mostly random dvds..Id say I another 50+ fights there. Some have mostly highlight packages on them.

I used to have about 45-50 fights on VHS..but they got fazed out and eventually I chucked them.
Used to live down the road from an old fan of the sport who had tons of fights on video..so I used to borrow them and just watch them once or twice then give them back.
Thanks to youtube Ive saved a bit of dough seeing fights for the first time or havent seen in a while without having to go and buy them. A good catalogue starting to form on there.
I think ive got another 20 or so fights on my computer..of various quality. Mostly new ones like Pac, Morales, Montiel, Pavlik and Wlad fights etc.

All in all I dont know how many I got...many are in storage somewhere or been lent out at the moment. But its fills about 10 of those CD cases.

Like most people Id imagine Ive seen a lot of fights...especially recent ones..that I just watch the once, either live or whatever and then just leave it at that.
I think I only own like 4 Fenech fights but Ive seen most of whats out there I think.

I own mostly just the standard viewing sort of fights...nothing to obscure.

I have just about every fight on tape from the mid 80's to about 2001. I stopped tapeing fights with the advent of DVD. I have boxes and boxes of VCR tapes that are probably going to be worthless from deterioration in the next few years. Its ashame, but I cant bring myself to transferring them all to DVD, it would tak years!

I meant they wouldnt work anymore. Some of the tapes are already getting a little blurry. Part of that is me watching them a thousand times and part from the tapes starting to deteriorate.

I have a folder with around 50 discs each with 2 or 3 selected fights on, ranging from Ray Robinson and Carmen Basilio to Edwin Valero and Juan Manuel Lopez.

Not the biggest collection on ESB I'm sure, but a pretty decent one I think.

I got about maybe 250-300 DVDs ranging from Jung Koo Chang to Alan Rudkin to Jermaine Taylor to Tiny Palacious generally just a mix of fighters with the legends best few fights on film.

Got 3 career sets from buying

Ray Leonard
Floyd Mayweather
Arturo Gatti

and have ammassed my own Sweet Pea career set

I did have a huge list of fights which was about 1000 but my Hard Drive broke and i havent been bothered going through them all

Im amatuer so my record dosent matter

i started boxing 2 or 3 years ago when i was 12 or 13 (im now 15)

my next fight is 2nd October.

The losses have been a cmbination of things but im not making excuses. The main reason is confidence problems and not settling into a proper style and all that.

Mainly i just aint got my head right in terms of everything coming togehter

I dont think my record means much. I aim to win a national tournament and fight for my country afew times (Scotland) and then turn pro. The Ams and pro are getting further apart so i think i should practise the sport i want to do (pro boxing)

my confidence problems are a range of things stuff like not thinking i deserve to win so i dont try, not training as hard as i should to have an excuse, trying not to hurt my opponents

im getting over them now. Ive been in afew regional finals and i just seem to freeze in them thinking im not good enough.

Im probbaly the most dedicated in my club. All i do is box basically. Ive made a heap of sacrifices for boxing, sometimes i think is it worth it then think hell yeh.

Im getting over them the more experiance i get and the more mature. Also im getting more confident now. I think now its all coming together and im getting people in the gym saying im a good fighter and im beating guys who used to punish me before.

Boxing is great. Even if you dont become a successful pro, the journey to get as far as you do will stay with you forever. I spent a lot of my youth in a boxing gym and those are times I will never forget. I just loved being around the gym and training with the guys. The guys that punch you in the face become like your family.:D

The guys that punch you in the face become like your family.:D

wow, what rare one's do u have?

Far too many to name, but without going into specifics I have a little over one hundred fights that I`ve bought from various studio sources and obscure collectors over the last ten years that you will not see on any websites that sell boxing fights or lists belonging to other individual collectors. I have spent a little over ten thousand dollars acquiring all these fights and I am always on the lookout for more rare fights to acquire be it via trading or paying top dollar for them.

Well, yes and no. You have to understand that I worked my ass off to get the money to buy these films from a very young age (I started collecting fight films when I was all of 12 years old), did loads of overtime at various jobs and oddjobs at a young age and when I was in my teens I had to hustle and do some shady things to get some extra cash and then save, save and save some more money to buy the films all the while going to school and training as a boxer five times a week from the age of 13 till I turned 17.

I sacrificed a lot and I mean A LOT over the years to acquire all these films, spent countless hours away from my family and friends to work and make money to buy fight films when everybody else was out partying and having fun and thats not taking into account the time and work it took to acquire my studio sources and make contacts with independant collectors who have rare footage, gain their confidence and trust and then purchase these fights for big bucks.

So yes, in a way I would be upset, but then again its not like its going to happen anyway so I am not at all concerned really. I do not like hoarding all my fights and keeping them to myself however and I have shared and released some footage over the years, but I can`t bring myself to share all of it for free when I worked so hard to acquire these films over the years and spent considerable sums of money to buy them.

Thats why it pisses me off when some folks get upset about my refusal to release these films, they haven`t got a clue how much time and effort I spent acquiring them and just feel I should share them with everyone because that would be the right thing to do in their opinion, well the hell with that, if those same folks who bitch and moan would have spent a fraction of the effort I did they might have something to show for it too, but since they don`t have the will or desire they just sit back and complain instead.

If anyone is interested, I recently was handed 3 Lionel Rose bouts from 1967. Lionel Rose has not seen the footage and now recieved them via the mail. From a home movie camera and in colour, he was rather excited about the viewing.. One of the fights is against Tiny Palacio.. the other 2 opponents I am waiting for Lionel to assess..

I wont sit here and sulk about the toil, struggle and sacrifice I made to become a greedy cunt with serious need for reflection on self... quite simply, I'll make these films available should any care to view them.

...I must add, that in aquiring the said tapes, I has to travel out of my way to a friends house... him being a non-smoker, I suffered for minutes whilst holding out for a cigarette, before recieving the tapes. On top of that, I drove past a Safeway store, the kind of supermarket where scumbags work day and night with little education in hope of becoming film collectors.. After finally reaching home, I then had to wade thru the cans in the fridge and determine the coldest of the lot... SUCCESS, a nice cold Bourbon was in hand.

Then more brain busting.... What do I do with the footage?? Fuck it, make it available for everyone who cares... That really was a struggle to conclude. I thought by doing this, it might save one teenager from depriving himself of nights out, an education, sex with something other than a sheep and gratitude that he ses from others..

If this footage interests you... just PM an address..

Tszyu vs LaPorte????

Charkey Ramon vs Jaques Kichichian????

These are fights some Australian are trying to locate. Im looking for the Charkey Ramon fights purely for the sake of Charkey Ramon hoping to see them... Rocky Mattioli has never seen the film of his fight with Eckharde Dagge in Germany in '78... Tszyu vs laporte is also hard to find..

It was indeed filmed, I have extended highlights of that fight as a matter of fact. Under different circumstances I may have decided to send you this footage as a nice gesture towards a fellow boxing fan as I have done several times in the past with others. However since you have been such a fucking asshole towards me it`ll never happen, EVER!

Let this serve as a lesson to you to try and gain favour with and befriend those collectors who have rare footage instead of cussing and cursing them out at every turn and bitching and whining like a little bitch about why you don`t have or can`t get a hold of such fight films. Had you done that you may have something to show for it, but since you did not you haven`t and never will have either.

I have the career (or pretty much most of it of) Lennox Lewis and Holyfield. I have fights of Foreman, and I have fights of Demsey and I bought a DVD and a book on Jack Johnson called "Unforgetable Blackness"

With Johnson I enjoy looking at the time period as much as anything, and the style of how they fought. With Dempsey I was surprised at his speed, I believe it was against Firpo that he threw a left hook so fast I have to rewind and try watching it several times before I could pick it up. Lewis' speed in his youth was the biggest surprise for me, his speed never gets mentioned, and if fact many call him slow, maybe that was true when he was in his mid-late 30's but not his mid 20's. And of course Holfyfield's a warrior, who always gives it his best. Would love to have a collection of Duran and Hagler, but I find myself turning to youtube more and more. I've also downloaded a few fights off the internet. Course I also have a few Ali fights but I think everyone has those.

The Lewis fight collection was funny cause I bought it from someone from England and when I received it my DVD wouldn't play it, turns out they use a different format, and so I bought another DVD player just to watch it.
