Fury didn't fulfill his only media commitment to promote this fight. Maloney is not happy and is complaining to the BBBofC.

War, McDonut!

It's on the homepage here too.

Not turning up will probably generate more interest than if he did.

Plus it got under Maloney's skin which is always a bonus.

Why don't you like Maloney?

Probably had to do some last minute roof-slate stealing.

I bet Maloney asked him not to be there.

A bit like when Haye didn't turn up at the Macca conference because he needed his sleep. ****** did a real good job at pretending to be angry that day.

Press conference will mean nothing when mcmuffin retires on his stool unable to breathe from the body shots!!!

Wonder what he will say when the press (if any) catch up with him? Should be funny. Really looking forward to this fight.

Why don't you like Maloney?

I don't dislike Baloney (joke ).

If it wasn't all staged, I suspect it was, It would have been Fury's objective to get under his skin - so it was good for him.

I like Maloney. He is the only major promoter who puts shows on in Yorkshire and the bills he shows are usually very good, I like the matchmaking and do not mind him personally, seems the usually funny little Irishman.

The fight is this Friday isnt it?

Betfair seem like the only bookie to have this one, though I expect others to follow suit.

Fury 1/8
McDermott 8/5
Draw 24/1

Clearly with this being a fan vs fan website the odds can prove distorted. Not sure I'd take McMuffin at those odds, would you?

If McDermott can blow Fury away like he did Pele Reid then we KNOW what to expect from Fury. Not much.

It's a good fight for Fury. He hasn't even turned pro a year yet! Cut the boy some slack. He's never short of words and I can't see that he's 'bottling' the press conference......surely if he was going to bottle out of something it would be the fight. Come Friday we will know whether he's 'picked up an injury' or whatnot, but I expect Fury to outjab and body punch McDermott til about the 6th round when Big John gets pulled out, in a totally uncompetitive fight.

Hope we get to learn something about Fury though (i.e his ability to take a punch) and surely the natural fight afterwards is him vs the winner of Prizefighter.

Winner of that fights winner of Rogan vs Sexton 2.

THAT LINE-UP WILL SEPERATE THE MEN FOM THE BOYS (in a domestic sense) :good

That was what oddschecker said.....

Fury has come in to 1/7 whilst McDermott is now at 3's.

Skybet have Fury at 1/6, with McDermott at 7/2.

Still not worth it IMO.

It will go the distance. Mcdermot will open up once or twice then go back to standing there with his hands up. Fury might topple him, if he does i'll be impressed but more likely he'll play it safe after taking one or two big ones early then win on points.
