How many sticky's does it take to make the sticky thing completely pointless? It pisses me off seeing so many stickys. It takes me so many more seconds to scroll down through to something relevent from the day. The sticky posters tend to be the same 5-6 people each time and it's boring to read. I vote that stickys are restricted to just 2. The official rules and maybe one other if there's an important and relevent topic.

Just to reiterate... I do not even click into the stickys anymore.

I agree with POW, theres just too many stickies at the moment. I don't see why 'normal' threads need to be stickied, if they are active enough they will stay near the top anyway, and if they've dropped because they arn't active then that means no one gives a shit about them anyway.

Yeah I agree - we could at least half the amount of stickies (8 to 4), although if this were to happen I would stay out of the debate as I would be slightly biased :p

Out of all of them, since I've been around, I've only ever added my weight to the 'fights watched' thread to be a Sticky- although it didn't go down too well at the time:|. Anyway, is there a way of making the 'British Boxing on TV' thread stand out by putting this ':deal' smilie next to it? Can we arrange that?:think:good

The TV, the ranking and the Bunce threads are OK for stickies but the others should just be left to their own devices IMHO.

on gaz's point, i do think to many good threads are lost in favour of rubbish ones, says something about the forum i guess
