Michael Spinks vs. Michael Moorer at HW

Moorer in all likelihood would've lost to Spinks at LHW so we will match them up at HW. Who wins?

Had these two met at light heavyweight, I would have readily picked Spinks, as I believe he triumphs heavily there. But at heavyweight, Spinks was simply too unproven and in many ways, vulnerable. Moorer's southpaw stance and further experience after being matched with a string of natural heavys would have been more pronounced at this level, and I don't know if Spinks had enough tricks up his sleeve to out fox Moorer for a long duration of time.

Moorer by TKO, and probably late.

Tough one to pick. Moorer isn't Tyson and going to simply run over Spinks, it'll be a chessmatch. Moorer is more proven at the weight but Spinks only lost at this weigh in his last fight against a prime Mike Tyson, and beating a 48-0 Holmes is a nice scalp. Better than anything that Moorer did at HW (Evander was sick)

I'll lean towards Spinks. He was only ever dropped by Tyson, other than that he never showed a questionable chin. I don't see Moorer stopping The Jinx. He'll have to outpoint Spinks but I can't see him doing that against the one that outboxed and outmaneuvered the unbeaten Larry Holmes.

Based off of the few fights Spinks had the Holmes fights and Cooney I think Spinks would edge the UD but it could be closer

but spinks stopping moorer ? WTF ?
it is the least reasonable possibility.
just not that.
spinks is neither holyfiled , tua nor foreman.
moorer however , can repeat the jirov fight.
spinks was afraid of qawi at 175.
no disrespect for qawi.
but if moorer stopped jirov then he can stop spinks for sure.
a focused , sharp toney didn't stop jirov and didn't deserve the big gap in scorecards that he got.
