Someone here requested it, so here it is.

Found it on an old VHS recording of mine.

At this time, Steele was the reigning middleweight champ at the height of his powers, while Lesnevich was a rising prospect. They met in an over-the-weight fight, and Steele proved simply too fast, too skilled, and too powerful for him, at least at this stage of his career.

Over the next couple of years, Lesnevich would establish himself as one of the leading LHWs in the world, and he would twice challenge Billy Conn for the title, losing to him in two very exciting and competitive fights. Eventually he would win the title and prove to be a very capable (and probably underrated today) champion.

This was actually the first footage of Steele I saw, which was part of the Boxing's Best series that came out many years ago. I think the video shows nicely that Steele had good power in both fists.
