Thanks for that Achilles .
I seem to rememver the Maussa performance being a decent one but a lot of people thought it was poor , it'll be good to get a chance to see that fight again .
IMO fighting on setanta is going to hurt ricky hatton`s profile in the uk .
if he wants legacy he should have signed his fights to bbc or itv , even channel 4 or 5.
if he wants money only , and obviously that is the path her has gone down , then its highest bidder and fuck who watches.
I heard the BBC offered money aswel as sky, but he chose to go with Setanta...
I think he should have took a pay cut and gone wioth the bbc...

Something to note is that the Hatton v Maussa fight is freeview so presumely all the other things in lead up to the fight are too . So those of you without Setanta can see all the things in the lead up , just not the fight itself .
Edit:Not all of these are free . I'll post up a complete timetable of free/subscribed stuff and when repeats are on in a few minutes .

I have cable (Virgin Media) and cannot view Setanta. Has anybody ordered the Hatton fight on cable? Apparently I have to subscribe to the channel for a certain period instead of just ordering the fight.
What a pallava, Hatton should be fighting on a more mainstream channel as the posterboy for British boxing. A lot of casual fans will just think 'fuck it' and not bother watching.

That's great news and really helps to hype the fight. They need to be advertising more. This shit should have been ALL OVER the newspapers!

You can just order it for 1 month for £15 then get rid of it. This and the Cotto-Judah fight was pretty good for £15.

I watch alot on that website but if you are a really boxing fan you won't want to wait 24 hours to watch a potential fight of the year.
I tried watching the free views on Setanta but it didn't work. I suspect it's because I haven't got a card slot.

Basically, unless they start showing boxing every night (classic matches, documentaries or such), with FNF & BAD at the weekends, as well as premier fights, I'm not interested in the service.
Not very realistic. A PPV costs £15! If they show us 2 a month, it already becomes worth the money. Take into consideration they repeat the fight throughout the month and show documentaries, weigh in etc then it definitely becomes worth it.

I know, but I have no interest in any other sport except tennis. and even then it's passing at best.
it's not bad value, but I'd like to see more events on - channel 5 were showing FNF fights the wednesday following broadcast for a while, but seemed to have moved it to a Friday night (if it's the same thing) now.
I just wish the coverage was more comprehensive - European, Mexican, US and there was more of it. The licences for these channels wouldn't be prohibitive, surely?
Like I say, just something like FNF, some classic matches and the occasional PPV would make me happy. But to get Setanta means getting Top Up TV for me, which you now need to buy a PVR - they don't sell the cards anymore - for £135, pay £10.99 a month for that, then £15 a month for Setanta... that's quite a chunk for someone who doesn't watch more than 5 hours a of TV a week.
Call up Setanta and find out how much a box and a card cost. They sell them together.

Can you cancel it? Even though its a 12 month thing for Virgin?
The Cotto fight was repeated for three or four days in a row. They'll also be showing it again in the near future.

You seen it? Great little fight.
i'm just keeping it for the three months unless they become serious about showing boxing regularly. no news about any other non-hatton fights to be shown live so i'm wondering if cotto-judah was a one-off.

They have a 6 fight deal with fight academy. Expect Woods to be on a bill.
