Larry is a decent guy, I am sure he wouldn't lie about something like this.

I remember thinking at the end of the 9th that it could get pretty nasty WHEN Fury was announced the loser...............

If neil is right and this ref was already fixed for fury......why not make the score closer.....fury comes out ahead, but these guys are idiots if they think they can fool the fans like this...

Personally i had fury winning by 1 or 2 rounds. This was a maloney promotion, surely if it was rigged it would have gone in mcdermotts favour?

Jeff, does the ref in English title fights have to hand over his card at the end of every round? I suppose if he'd given Fury a few undeserved rounds early on to make sure Fury would win it if it went to points he was then left with the problem that Fury was actually winning some later rounds and so couldn't exactly give those to Mcdermott just to make it look more even.
Either way, what a joke. The look on O'Connor's face when he held Fury's arm up. He'd already set his face to stone anticipating the protests it would lead to.

It wouldn't surprise me, the gypo's can have quite an influence, I've seen it alot in the amateurs. Obviously this is on a much larger scale but then again the gypo's here will be on a larger scale in support.

Apparently McD's dad beat the ref years ago. If that is the case then the BBBofC should not have allowed him to ref. That is a close enough personal link for TOC not to ref the bout.

It was a look of defiance like "This is my fight. I'm going to decide who wins. I don't care who everyone else thinks won the fight, I say Fury won."

That was the first time anyone drew my attention to that, he did look a bit like a condemned man.
I initially felt he was motioning to signal a draw actually.

The ref shouldnt be scoring the fight anyway thats embarrasing enough without a crap score

Load of nonsense. If it were the case the ref would have made Fury a winner by a single point which wouldn't have caused eyebrows to be raised as the fight was close
