Hi. Thanks for this. There is also an interesting video on Youtube which details Carl's training regimen. It was recorded when he was training in County Mayo Ireland before his fight with Jean Pascal. Looking at the video it suggests he does a lot of interval sprint work i.e. minute flat out followed by brief rest, more sprints etc.
Here is a link to the youtube video.

Just did this.
Did Froch do a few rounds of these or just once? Cuz I just did it and it was pretty easy except the pullups wich I did 8 on my two last sets.

Hi. It may be worth throwing in a run on the same day as the gym work listed above.
Check this extract from an article from Askmen.com. It looks like running work is done in addition to running circuits:
My exercises
My training consists of probably four to five runs a week, but they’re varied runs and they start from three miles: These are 18 minute runs which are fast paced and quite intense. Then the longest I’ll do is six or seven miles -- I do six minute miles so that’s about 45 minutes, which is the duration of an average fight. Then I also do flat sprints of 100 metres, 80 metres, 60 metres and hill sprints. Then it’s a session with my trainer Robert McCracken down the gym -- sparring, pads, shadow-boxing, and then circuits, press-ups, sit-ups, etc. and I do that for about two-and-a-half hours.

That looks pretty easy honestly. I have a feeling Carl (or any pro boxer) does ALOT more espeically when it comes to abdominal work. I do more than that most days, and I'm not even an open class amateur yet.
Probably just some gimmick for the magazine

Im sure if he's getting quality technical work, alot of bodyweight calistenhics don't make much sense.
