View Full Version : PBF vs Cotto; PBF Avoided it

PBF could have fought a real welterweight in Cotto or even Mosely/Williams. Instead he's done what he's always done and avoided the best competition possible instead to fight a light-welterweight who was clearly out of his depth when he moved up to 147!

Cotto said he offered the fight to Fraud but Fraud turned it done, running scared as usual, like he does in most of his matches.

PBF's best wins are against a shot Gatti and a shot DLH.

Who's he gonna fight next, Ivan Calderon ?

Hatton isn't a bad fight. Infact it is a huge step up from what Mayweather has been doing for a while now.

I'm satisfied with that. It'll be a decent fight too.

Cotto called Floyd out? Link please.:deal

As far as I'm aware it's always been Floyd calling Cotto's ass out, dating back to the Gatti days. Bob Arum didn't want to hear any of it.

You obviously know nothing of his career. No point building your thread up by acting interested since you're really not. Looking for a fight... eh?

SHEguel HOtto never offered Floyd shit

His handlers claimed he wasn't ready at 140 and Floyd's name has yet to be uttered by them at 147..

HOtto's best wins are agianst the "glass-jawed chicken dancer" and an un-proven she-male named Quintana..

HOtto is being moved-along like he turned pro 2 years ago
Aint you mature:patsch

Im a Cotto fan but i dont agree with you, Cotto never calls out anyone. He fights whoever is put in front of him, his job is to fight and to fight only, and he does it very well.

Yes, it is easier for Mayweather to fight Hatton instead of Cotto, but at this point i think Cotto wouldnt be ready for PBF anyway so floyd would win againts both IMO. Cotto needs to do a few more fights before floyd and a win againts mosley and another big name would give him the experience to win againts floyd but for PBF right now, Cotto isnt a much bigger threat than Hatton.

It would be nice though if Cotto said who he wanted to fight once in a while

This is why threads like this are terrible. I'm a fan of both Mayweather and Cotto, and the fucking morons come out to discredit these guys, saying they're bad fighters or things like this retard comment, "HOtto is being moved-along like he turned pro 2 years ago". If that was the case, they NEVER would have fought Judah. That took balls and it paid off.

Oh, and now he's fighting Mosley.

Save the PBF avoids cotto conjecture until AFTER the SSM vs Cotto fight.

Floyd doesnt fight whoeever wins that fight??

Then whichever camp can have at the Floyd's avoiding/ducking me.

There is no doubt or reasonable explanation for Floyd not to face that winner, assuming he beats hatton.

Cott's handlers think Shane is an old man..That's the ONLY reason this fight is happening..:deal

Shane can put on more pounds after the weigh-in than Cotto..

This will be the FIRST time Cotto will be fighting somebody that weighs just as much..if not more than him..

He won't be able to bully Shane like all those other guys he outweighed by 15+lbs..

I don't see anything special about cotto. he is big but shane is quicker and more experienced. I see shane overwhelming cotto and winning a UD or early ko depending on how cotto's defense has improved. one thing is certain cotto won't be facing little zab judah:lol:
