Nog maybe? I think Cro Cop can beat Nog. Good match for him stylistically. He has looked terrible against other strikers for years though now, and will likely get KO'd by Dos Santos.

Anyway, IF Cro Cop could beat Santos and Nog, he would likely get a shot at Lesnar (and get ragdolled). Prefer to see Nog fight Lesnar. Nog is the heavy in the UFC most likely to beat Lesnar.

Dos Santos will get killed if he fights Lesnar.

Theres not gone be a Mir-Nog rematch, if there is, it will be a very long time from now. The winner will fight Nogueira. Then the winner of that will face the Champ who will most likely still be Lesnar. I think the UFC is hoping for Cro Cop to win to make the fight against Lesnar, it will do great numbers.

I fully expect Dos Santos to KO Cro Cop. BUT if Cro Cop somehow manages to remember how to be kickboxer, it will be great to see him get the chance to avenge the most dissappointing loss of his career - I guess a lot of ppl ended up feeling like they should have beaten Nog, but that was an historically significant match. And both Nog and Cro Cop have slipped far enough for it still be competitive.

ps I think I might be overrating Dos Santos a little here; he's stil a largely unproven commodity.

Nog has said he ready to fight in Decemeber (I think the Jan even is more likely) and is the obvious choice. If Dos Santos wins I doubt they will fight each other as they train together.

Dos Santos wins - Gonzaga
Cro Cop wins - Nog

Santos needs an eliminator for the title.

CroCop needs to rematch Congo. I can accept him losing but being out struck takes the piss.

If Crocop pulls the type of finish he once did against Vovchanchyn...He'd probably get an instant shot at the belt.

But if he just wins by decision or regular tko...i don't think it'll happen. He'll have to fight more opponents.

Yeah Mir-Cro Cop would be a distruction unless Mir gets down Cro Cop which isnt very easy and I think Cro Cops ground game is alot better then he gets credit for. Fedor and Gonzaga couldnt pass his guard and if they cant pass then you are doing something right.

He is more mentally shot then physically. Maybe he has stopped believing in his own hype.

He REALLY looked like he didn't want to be in there that night, no fight in him at all. I read that he was quoted as saying "what the hell am I still doing this for" as what he was thinking inside the cage that night. He got outstruck by Kongo and Gonzaga :bart And honestly that last fight, he looked so gunshy, and if it wasn't for that eye poke I'm not sure the TKO would've came.

Love Crocop but I am hoping for JDS a win so he can fight that overrated Gorilla Gonzaga.

I would buy the PPV with a JDS/Gonzaga main event just for the fun of seeing Gonzaga out on a stretcher.

wtf, the TKO was easily on the way. Rewatch it, Mustafa was stumbling around the ring, it was a question of one or two minutes. He was getting tagged and tagged.
