Awesome write-up on Bobby Sinn by Tony Nobbs - one of the best articles I have read and great to see somebody take the time to remember this great warrior. Would have thought Flamengo might have put his hand up there but typically disappointing display from him!

I agree, I reckon Flamengo would love to have his name on such a brilliantly written article. Three cheers Tony Nobbs!

I agree.... he really is a master with words... makes Shakespeare look illiterate in comparison. I have a feeling the editor, or perhaps a true wordsmith such as Norman Mailer enhanced to text just a little.. Nobbs aint that poetic.

Good article on Bobby Sinn but I do have one concern about the the new look Fist.
Is it just me, or are they a little over the top with advertising?
Just dos'nt seem to be as much content as before.
Maybe I'm imagining things.

There's just a little bit of deja vu about that:

Hi Mate
I know the boys real well and had a look at the old fist to compare apples with apples the old mag had only 1 ad in it at the back. The new mag has 8 ads but extra pages in it, when I asked Elias why its like that he told me with going to a full colour mag with better paper and so on , it was either increase the ads or increase the price of the mag. I think its great to see companies supporting boxing and apparently the readership is up three fold.
Keep up the good work lads !

Reckon the new version of the FIST is reasonable enough value - have bought each months edition since the re-vamp.
Wish they'd stop with the sheila page though!
Missus looks over my shoulder the other night and I'm doing a quick study of the Asian bird in the white bikini....
she comments: 'What magazine's that dear?'
.....'Oh, um, err, Fist'.
...and I'm still not quite sure what type of magazine she thought I was looking at!
