Hey guys,
Just got the Don Familton DVD's (Just heard he died - very sad :verysad)... In the DVD's he discuss' in great detail stepping into the jab. I have always known this but the way he teaches it is as follows:
Three steps: Weight on the back, weight on the front, weight on the back
Push Off: As the weight lands on the back - explode off and extend the jab
As Strike Lands: Bring jab back to guard
Been practicing and thought it worked really well... does anyone else use this method of jabbing?
(This may well be the typical boxing method of jabbing, but remember I'm a Thai fighter)
