Very quick return - if he is fighting i hope he comes unscathed, to possibly feature on the Froch undercard.

Rematch with McDermot? I think not.

Decent opponent or a gimme?
Me thinks they will give him someone to stop and play on the stopped 7 out of 8 opponents thing for awhile. The SKY boys started half through his last fight - i wouldnt mind but he doesnt look like a great power puncher

the guy needs to be doing more intense training and more quality sparring. he needs a new trainer. problem is his pikey dad wont dish out the cash to get one.

another bum will get him no where. i reckon haye would like him for valuev sparring

If anyone genuinely thinks Tyson Fury is the future of English Boxing we are in deep shit. :bbb

I agree i think it do Haye and him the world of good.

He's lacking good class power because he isn't conditioned well and he isn't doing any strength work by the looks. His technique is all over the place...he throws some very clean shots then his right hand is like a dogs lead it just flops and loops...he doesn't seem to throw it straight down pipe.

Fury needs more fights and more sparring. At least he is fighting unlike other heavyweight prospects.

I guess this is for the Irish title then. Good on Fury for accepting the fight so soon after his first ever gruelling 10 rounder. Good luck to him, I'm really looking forward to this card:good.

As it goes I think you are right, I read it somewhere (and I think in last weeks program) that Fury had already booked a date next month for the Irish title.

It was supposed to be for the Irish title, but that is no longer the case.

What is it then, a six rounder?:think It's a shame as it would have been an incentive for him. Title or not, you have to respect the guy for getting back in the ring again so soon (even if it is against someone severely overrmathced).

It's a 6 rounder alright, and that was probably always going to be the case.

declin timlin would have been an obvious choice for me for an irish title fight against fury...
but fury just needs an exhibition after mcdermott....and timlin doesnt want to be risking that unbeaten record at this stage

I'd say Colin Kenna would be the more likely option.
Kenna has a name(well kind of), experience, been stopped quite a bit lately and is past his best. He wouldn't be hard to negotiate a fight with either.

Timlin on the other hand may be difficult to get in the ring.

Yes and no, technically he's active but he's pulled out of the last two cards he was meant to be on.

So ???

Very quick return..

Very quick return yes, but Tyson Fury is not a bad man.
He is a bad boxer, no skill, no class, no defence, no power and no chance of doing anything. Will probably fall short of even winning the British Title, and considering this is at Heavyweight, well that tells its own story.
He is big, I will give you that, but 'Bad' no no no son don't be daft.

I'm no lover of Tyson Fury(nor do I dislike him either, my feelings on him are neutral) but do you honestly believe a 21 year old Heavyweight who really isn't that far off British title level already, considering he had a close fight with McDermott and McDermott nearly beat Danny the first time, isn't going to win the British title is his entire career ?

Are you fucking serious ?, Fury probably won't become the World beater he believes he will, he may even fall short at European level but considering his age and the extreme likelyhood he'll improve quite a lot, barring serious injury it's almost a given that he'll win the British title at some point.
