I dont have malignaggi type of hands and i have no problem during sparring mittwork or anything else but i have had surgery on my left hand and after a while it feels very sore when im working the heavybag and i have to stop for a while. I wrap them up with the extra long wraps but i was just wondering which type of gloves had extra padding around the knuckle area.

Winning. They are like pillows. They are very expensive, but if you have hand problems like the ones you describe, they are worth it.

Get a quality pair of 16oz bag gloves. Use two pairs of handwraps. Put a piece of sponge over your knuckles.

I'd recomend learning how to wrap up your hands best for their protection. that is if you arn't already a pro at it.

personally, i would say small gloves and proper punching technique. big gloves cause fighters to slap, not clench their fist etc too many boxers rely on the glove to protect their hand rather than good technique, accuracy etc

Winning. 14 oz when training..if your over 165 pounds use 16s and if your a heavyweight use 18s.
Other gloves will hurt your hands...once you use winning you won't want to use anything else.

Winning are the best but are hard to get and very expensive. Your best bet is to get grant boxing gloves.

Kings gloves are really good for budget gloves around £40.00 much longer cuff than twins and they wear really well.
Like I said before the shevlins are quality. There old school gloves so not so square but you can order them how you want them so 14oz sizeglove with 16 oz padding.Or extra padding were you want.
The leather is top quality you pick your colours (up tp 3) with out extra charge.
The best bit is the sound they make on the pads or bag a slap sound any pimp would be proud of.
Prices start around 75 dollars like I said quality. I have been boxing 30 years and tried most brands of gloves and for me Shevlins are as good as they come.

I have purchased almost every pair available in the title magazine until this last years new stuff. I havent been able to afford any winnings, especially since i am not a pro.I recommend purchasing a pair of title platinums though, the 18 oz are really comfortable. I think they are the best out there for there price overall.
