ya'll know i've been a fan of hatton for a long time now, but yesterday i had to side with my man castillo....i wasn't 100percent sure who would win but for some reason i was acting as if castillo was gonna whoop hatton...maybe cause i did wanna see it so that castillo would be able to get 1 more big paycheck...cause lets not forget, even though he's given us some good fights, he aint no rich man....which pisses me off but that's a whole other subject.....
anyways, my hat's off to hatton for not really fighting dirty and making it a pretty good fight for 4 rounds....honestly, i dont think castillo was shot, i aint seen him start that fast since the corrales fights...which means he was in tremendous shape...i dont think it's over for castillo, it's just that at this point in his career, he can't really be fighting these energetic ass m'fuckaz...
i still think he beats alot of guys at 140 and i hope to god he gets atleast 2 more good checks....
PROPZ TO HATTON....
and i remember betting someone some money but i forgot who....so just pm me your address and you'll get your money :good

Respect for the thread Freddy... your man lost to a killer body shot, no loss of kudos for that.

Much respect to freddy-wak for that great post, finally someone making sense on here today :deal .
Your man certainly didn't disgrace himself, he got taken out by a punch that would have felled most 140lb fighters IMO after putting up a competitive fight from the start. Like others have said, no shame in that and Castillo is still a warrior in my eyes.

Good post Freddy and thanks for starting this thread. I too picked Castillo and was playing him up like crazy yesterday. I WAS WRONG. Mad congratulations to Hatton and his fans for a great showing.

CAZARES KO7 CALDERONonly if cazares lands, which won't happen:D ....anyway I give Cazares props, the boy can fight and Calderon is taking a major risk,...his toughest fight yet. I think Calderon is the best pure boxer to date...he will win because of it...he's is sooo underrated it's crazy. Avatar bet?:hey

hatton could retire today being known as a good fighter, but it's what he does from now that defines his career

Good post, that's pretty much the way I saw it too.
How didnt you see that coming? I mean seriously, boxings a young mans game, after all dem wars, did you think the Castillo that fought Gayweather the first time was really gonna magically appear? dude... the fight before last he looked as good as ever knocking corrales out in one punch...
god how people forget... the talk on here was how awsome castillo was, ect, ect... one flat performance later and hes barely a credible opponent to some

of course he wasn't a prime castillo, but he still looked to be about 85 percent... and knocking him out like that is a huge statement.....especially when the manchester mexican took out the real mexican with a liver shot    how fucken ironic is that......

The question on the lips of many seems to be
who would win a prime Castillo or Hatton ?
I still say Ricky takes him. Convincingly.
As another poster said this is a Castillo just two fights removed from destroying Diego Corrales in their hotly anticipated rematch.
One flat performance against a nobody does not a bad fighter make!
As Ricky proved last night with his post Urango victory over JLC
Great post Freddy, Hatton deserves credit for yet another great victory.

As an admitting Hatton hater(still hate him). I gotta give my props to him. It was a good 4 rnd match, both guys were landing shots, and that was a beauty of a move to the left to get an angle and put that left hook body shot right on the button.
Congrats to Rick and the Brits.
