Verno Phillips is the highest rated contender in the IBF, at #3, to challenge for Corey Spinks’ jr. middleweight championship. The #1 and #2 spots are currently vacant.

The IBF has asked the two camps to begin negotiations for the title fight.

Should be a good fight. Verno still has plenty left in him. I can see him dropping Spinks late but I still expect a UD victory for Cory.
