Anyone heard anything about Sprotts replacement???

Maybe McDermott??

Skelton must be out of the pictures since his defeat in Germany.. What about Enzo stepping up?? That would be a laugh

If Enzo stepped in for Sprott, i'd put my money on him to win the whole thing!

The new heavy with the Ingles.. Can't remember his name or Glenn Mccrory's cuban heavy Mike Perez!!

Due to there amateur experience they like to move Cuban fighters along quickly!! If he won this tournament, which i believe he could do it would be the explosure he needs!!

Just sonething to think about!!:good

The Cubans are supposed to be class but are still at the bum opponent stage, those lads will not get a step up in class for another 15 fights yet.

We will probably get Burton or Ferguson.

Julius Francis, fresh off his 14-fight losing streak.

He's one of the biggest loads of horseshit I've ever had the displeasure of watching, honestly, I can't describe how bad he was/is. Then again, I could say that about a lot of heavyweights, it's a division that's never interested me.

I wouldn't be suprised if Dave Ferguson rocked up again.

didn't swaby already do one of these? mcdermott would be my choice as a replacement, he'll certainly be angry enough to do some damage after the fury fight and he's roughly on the same level as sprott, whereas swaby's a step or two below

I saw him on the Thomspson vs Haye card and I honestly felt like crying :D

I have never been so bored in all my life :-(

Can you remember that fight where he threw a punch? Not sure who it was against but it looked ok.

Hearn should offer Herbie Hide a small fortune. I know hes not far from a WBC Cruiserweight title shot but imagine the drama and publicity it would creat with grudge matches against Williams and Audley!!!

HATER!

When Willie Pep never threw a punch in a round he was deemed to be a genius. :D

Just been talking about this with a friend and he said that Tom Dallas (from Maidstone I believe) may be offered the place.

I saw him on the Booth vs Dean undercard at York Hall and he looked decent.

Fucking hell. They would have to increase security by about 300% if those lads ended up anywhere near each other :yep

Unfortunately the shape isn't what the rest of the boxing community generally accept as that of a boxer

Hes too stifff and upright and will get ko'd by Williams or Harrison. Having said that i would rather see someone like him than a Matthew Ellis or a Paul Butlin getting the nod.

I'd love to see that. It won't happen but it's a cracking idea.

You're right about Tom Dallas, he's decent and has good power but he leaves his chin up in the air and goes back in straight lines.

Dallas would be a decent addition but hes young and a decent enough prospect so i dont know if his team would want to risk him losing his 0 in prize fighter. The same goes for Perez (the Cuban guy).

Personally i would love to see Larry Oblubamiwo. He's no world beater but he has lost his 0 and his style is made for Prizefighter.

Hell of a shout, he'd create interest for casual boxing fans as well I'd imagine due to his size & shape.

He's nowt to lose by throwing his name in the hat

He has already said it himself that he won't go on it. I agree with you though, he should do it.

i used to train in a gym where larry used to train regulalrly. he used to spar a lot with franklin egobi. i would rather see franklin in there. i think he could cause problems for a few of the fighters....

Not sre if it has already been posted on here, but according to The Sun, Neil Perkins will be Sprott's replacement for Prizefighter, any thoughts???

Just that it's a huge opportunity for the green Perkins, but it's a shame that one of the more recognisable names in British heavyweight boxing couldn't be there instead...though understandable.

Greenberg vs Julius Francis is still one of the worst fights I've ever seen, and I one I always try to mention whenever 'worst fight' polls come along.
