When starting out a successful career in boxing,
Do you think it's important to conform and focus a fighters training on perfecting and executing one orthodox style
or
Do you think it's important for a fighter mix it up and consume their energy executing many styles.
Example- You'd wouldn't really see Holmes fighting in the pocket or see Tyson and Frazier fighting on the back foot. Floyd initiating a brawl or aggressive attack.
But then again you don't really see Toney, Hatton, Holyfield, Mosley execute a heavily focused orthodox style. They can fight in many areas.
What are your opinions and experiences?
