Great fight for DR iron fist....Vatali Klitschko :good
Punch stats
Vatali 301 landed of 802 thrown
Chris 86 landed of 331 thrown
Fight stopped by the ref before Chris could get off the chair for the 11th round
Vatali was clinical.....looked great landed loads of effective shots....boxed well and moved out of the way.
Chris failed to bob and move and never got inside and giving away reach and technique he lost almost every round other than round 4 when he managed to get inside.
Props to Chris he's very tough.....he got hit with plenty and never gave in......ref stopped the fight.
Even though Areola looked way out of shape....he's very fit....got hit with great shots and was still moving ok after 10.
Congratz to Vatali :good

In the interview after Chris said this......"everybody on the internet is right...I'm a fat mother f#$%&@"
I think we may see a more dedicated Areola next time round.....BTW Henry told the ref that he wont let Chris back out for the 11th.

Arreola should spend more time doing roadwork and less time on the piss.

I think a super fit Arreoala really could be a 'Nightmare' for most heavyweights, Realistically though how many of you think he could have beaten Vitali, Super fit or not?

He needs a new game plan to bridge the gap.....in the end he sat right in front of Vatali and ate leather....maybe some prime Tyson movement to get in close....nobody was better :deal

My god the heavy weight divison is sad, Vitali has the footwork of a spastic and punch technique of a corpse yet he is the champ, just horrible

That pretty much sums it up. The ill-effects of Chernobl.

I don't remember him looking QUITE that unco in previous fights but that being said it was very effective....

I'd say that must have something to do with the size and physical build of him and his bro or generations of selective breeding

....selective breeding in a villiage that consisted of the same family for generations.

Vitali fights like a poor mans 6"8 version of Joe Calzaghe.
That is why he is such a dominant world champion.
Chris needs to learn how to use his footwork to cut his opponent off when they are running away. Get Kostya to show him how...

Can't understand all the negative stuff for Klitschko.
Vitali at 38yrs is in great shape & fought a good tactical fight. Thought he moved well.
Arreola was unable to pin him at any stage.
Arreola would certainly be a nightmare for David Haye.
After this fight I can see Haye being the perfect opponent for Vitali. Wlads style will suit Haye a lot better and he should press for that fight, if any at all...

The difference is that Haye has decent reach and is MUCH better on his feet than mud guts.

I think the key to beating either the Klit's is speed.

Problem is Vitali would hit him clean at the very least a few times....and despite not Ko'ing a 250 pound Arreola he bashed him into submission. Most guys at 230 are staggering around from Vitali's jabs

Thats what im saying. Haye should avoid Vitali at all costs and try and land Wlad...

Both Klitschko's would destroy David Haye.

Actually, Haye refused to fight both Klitschkos. Vitali or Vlad would knock Haye out early.
Vitali is 6 foot 100, how well do you think his footwork is going to be?
Truth is no fighter out there at the moment is good enough to get anywhere near him. He is so dam effective at what he does it's boring. He could fight another 7 yrs and no one will touch him.

Which says more about the current state of the Heavyweight division than it does about his ability.

I wish Vitali or Vlad could have gotten Haye into a ring.
