He will have to make 265 lb, weight limit.:hey

Not a problem for him I'm sure. He'll drop a deuce before the weigh in and he'll be good.

He's made 250 before, so I don't think he'll have much of a problem making 265.

You can't be serious, Hunt has no ground game, none. Yoshida took him down and armbarred him. Anybody with a groundgame beats Hunt.

1. That was his first MMA fight.
2. Couture has no sub game compared Barnett, Fedor, and Yoshida.

Sarcasm? :huhOk a little bit:yep But lets keep it real.Hunt is a behemoth of a man.To even get him to the mat and control him would be a tough ask for Randy.Imagine if Hunt mounts Randy? Thats not even worth thinking about. In anycase Hunt is a massive addition to the UFC if it does happen.

But he's got better takedowns than all of the above but maybe Fedor, and will pound Hunt out no problem. He doesn't need to be better at subs then those three, just Hunt, which he has, by several light years.

Mark Hunt is going to wreck shit...until someone decides to take him down and throw on an armbar. He's a slightly better version of Butterbean at this point. If you want to stand with him, you're an idiot. If you take him to the ground, game over. Granted, he looked alright on the ground against Fedor recently, so perhaps he will come in and astonish us with his newfound jiu jistsu skills (ala JiujistuBean).

With that said, I like Mark Hunt and I look forward to seeing him fight.

Not a Hunt fan. Rather not see him compete but if he must, he must. I think there's a spot left in the IFL for him.

Hunt will bring some exciting fights.

I think Randy would beat him easily, Wandy isn't known for his takedowns and he took Hunt down easily.

Hunt is walking entertainment. He's basically a legitimate freak show fighter. Quite personally I love all of his fights because they are absolutely hilarious. His 'tard lock submission attempts, atomic ass drops, and willingness to absorb obscene amounts of damage makes him a sure hit wherever he goes.

Don't forget the knee drops.
If you guys haven't seen Hunt/Nishijima, I'd suggest you check it out.
PM me if you need it.

while I agree with Donut, someone said Randy would take him down and pound him out easily. I don't think King Kong could pound out Hunt.

I don't think his style is anything to laugh at. He's anything BUT a Butterbean. Butterbean is not known to be able to take punishment, nor is he known for his movement. Hunt is known for his chin, and ability to move for a big guy.

If anything, he embodies a dancing hippo. Huge, fast and powerful.
