Dec 1 danny green will meet antonio tarver somewhere TBA in the states. I like green, and think america will too. THe event is to be televised by american TV. HBO will def air this fight. Tarver definitely
has the advantage in skillset and big fight experience, but of late he's
looked damn near shot. Danny on the other hand looks refreshed at his
new weight. e's having fun again, and his power is amongst the best in the division. Tarver has to turn the clock back on this one if he is to be
victorious. A win for green means global recognition, and a loss for tarver means alot of happy ESB members.

I can hear larry merchants comentary already "Just last december Tarver beat balboa and this december he gets koed by green. Someone should have told tarver....there is no script because this is not a movie."

Stylewise, Green is perfectly made for Tarver.

But they are poles apart in current form and confidence at the moment. Green is looking pumped up and very quick at the moment, up there with the best form of his career, though the guys he fought since Mundine have been tailor made for him to look good. Tarver hasnt really looked good since he ko''d Roy but then again he has faced some stiff opposition ever since.

Tarver better be ready for this or he will lose, I think a totally in shape and focused Tarver would school the bejesus out of Green however. I hope that doesnt happen.

green is pumped for this fight,he should have been in the states a long time ago.the yanks would have dug his no bullshit ,hard out approach, plus he is down to earth and can talk very well,so a good package for a promoter.
if he brings home the bacon,he will get big recognition.

If Tarver is in shape, I don't see Green having much of a chance. Isn't Green the guy that got KO'd by Markus Bayer? Or at least lost to him?

Anyway, I don't understand why Tarver did not fight Dawson. That would have been a nice fight.

tarver has a style green will find hard to get inside.

saying this tarver is 37 /38 and could come apart if green can walk through him.

and green will have to try to do this as on the outside he is a sitting duck.

i think tarver points.

Explain yourself, young man. So you think Green will win? Why don't you give us any insight on how that is going to happen?

he put up the emoticon i am guessing because of the green was ko`d by beyer throw away line.

green had beyer down twice in the first fight and got d/q on a headbutt after 5.

on the second fight beyer outboxed green but green got him in the last and decked beyer hard but beyer fiddled his way to the bell and won on points.

At first I was going to take Tarver by a Late Round KO, but then I started thinking about his last fight with Muriqui.......Green by decision. His style will give Tarver fits!!!

Green needs to do some damage early, otherwise if a focused tarver rocks up he has the moves to pick away at him all night. In sayiing that though, and going by current form of both fighters, I think green can do this.

I'm thinking and hoping green by tko in about rds 6/7.

cant wait!

Possibly you might want to get your facts right before you start patronizing other posters.:D

If Tarver's any more prepared than he was against Muriqi, he should beat Green pretty easily. Green's an entertaining fighter, but he's also a one-dimensional slugger. Tarver should be able to control him on the outside. Of course, Green also has enough power to put Tarver to sleep if he can catch him square, so I definately give Green a puncher's chance.

if tarver does not fight better than he did vs muriqi he will NOT beat green. i hope he puts on a show and knocks him out though
