They're training partners and good friends and so refuse to fight each other. Therefore no one bothers to talk about it.

It's the fight I want to see but neither of them want it. MAchida v Shogun and Silva v Belfort. Silva v Hendo/Nate winner and MAchida v Evans or someone else.
It's not happening. What a shame. They are both top 5 P4P and physically similar. It has to happen.

Id rather not see it anyway both are to much of counter strikers id rather see either guy face Mousasi who will bring the fight more.

this is the most logical fight in the UFC and would be such a big draw. I could understand them not fighting each other if they were brothers like the Klits. Dana needs to make this one happen.

If Silva and Machida don't want to fight each other then I don't want to see it.
As others have said, I'd rather see Mousasi fight either of them, at 205lbs.

Maybe because Machida has an upcoming fight vs a halfway decent fighter by the name of Shogun Rua coming up & if/when he loses that one, no-one will be fantasizing about Machida vs anyone.

Silva and Machida are not brothers. The Klitschkos have a legitimate reason not to fight. These two Brazilians do not. It would be one of the biggest and best fights in history after Silva outclasses Belfort and Machida destroys Rua. I think they must both be wary of the ability of the other. Get it on.

and one of the closest fights that could be made. Mousasi has the full body of work. He admits he is weak on his back though he has shown he can do well.

Well he has improved in that area remember he KOed Jacare with an upkick and Triangled Denis Kang off his back. Might not be his best area but it sure as heck is no weakness IMO. Mousasi's top game is vicious though GNP and submissions wise.

Very boring fight with Machida winning by close decision.

Totally agree. He considers it his weakest aspect but I think he is still sick on his back. The up kick was great. Mousasi seems so versatile when you look at his major fights so far. Mount, side guard, on his back, standing, the whole package.

Yup and its not just that hes excellent in all areas its he is so versatile in every one of those areas. Off his back he has devastating strikes and submissions as we have covered with the Jacare and Kang fights. On top especially from side control hes a submission machine with incredible GNP just ask Babalu. Standing hes not one of those guys who has good Thai skills but questionable hands or great boxing with weak Thai skills, he was an amateur boxing Champion and it shows and his Kick-Boxing skills are legit he tested himself an that K-1 fight last year and looked very good. I love also how relaxed this guy is at just 24 years off age all the work done with Fedor is helping hes the Fedor of 205 and lower IMO.

He can adapt to who he is facing. He turned Hunt and Manhoef's size and aggression against them and locked them up in subs. It was beautiful. He loves to work from side guard/control. He beat some guy in the same way Nelson beat Kimbo.
Really looking forward to him fighting next time. He is definitely hitting his stride nicely, maybe even peaking.
