Can anybody give me a complete list of active pro boxers in the Merseyside area. Got details from boxrec, but just want to confirm.
I am currently in the process of launching a site dedicated to the Liverpool/Merseyside boxing scene. :bbb:bbb:bbb

Before he signed with Maloney the other week, I'd have said David Price! ;)
In all seriousness, I think the 'Where are they now' feature is a good idea. Maybe a joint Holligan-Neary one to go with a Nark in the Park article?
I know Neary is running the Shamrock gym in Old Swan these days, so it'd be good to hear what he's gotta say about the lads he's training now etc...

Great puncher. He won his ABA title for Rotunda, as you say, but must have left them prior to going pro. I once saw Joey, Ray and George Gilbody on a Liverpool to London train, suited up, making the long journey to Moscow for the 1980 Olympics.
Joey was a bit unlucky not to win a medal.

So, Pricey makes his long awaited return tonight.
Anyone seen his opponent (either as pro or am), Liridon Memishi?
Scheduled for 6 but hopefully it wont go that far and we get another highlight reel KO from the big man. Anyone going to watch it? I was planning to, but unfortunately I couldnt get the day off work so I'll be hitting the Cornmarket at 10 bells to watch Friday Fight Night.
Scouse boxing has got an exciting three weeks ahead of it with Pricey tonight and next week, Davies fighting Napa and then the big one in the arena. Exciting stuff!

Pricey got another stoppage on Friday. Good times. He must be able to bang, because I didnt think he had the German in that much trouble really. Ah well, decent performance after six months out. Hoping for a cracking performance from him next week in Bolton.
Big money fight in about 12 months I reckon with Fury. Our big man would wipe the floor with him!!

Anyone got any details for the weigh-in(s) on Thursday? Wouldn't mind going down if its open to the public.
I'd imagine it might be in the Jury's Inn, but that's a complete and utter guess :think

It was a close fight mate, hard to choose either way. Everyone is split. The rematch is something to look foward to. I had a bet @ 20/1 on the draw. Thought i had won. :patsch

I'm watching it at home, but I know a few people that are heading to Riley's (the snooker bar) in town to watch it in there. Not sure how many pubs/clubs across the city will have it on though.
