What if Miranda had come in and blown out Pavlik?
Would he be fighting JT?
Would JT have moved up to avoid Miranda?
Would Miranda be facing the same questions from the fans as Pavlik ?

If Miranda blew out Pavlik in short order, we would be gearing up for Taylor-Miranda. JT doesn't avoid anybody, so he would have stayed at 160 for this fight. Miranda would be hugely hyped and would be favored by many fans.

I am unsure, if they would have fought.
Unless JT could have avoided it. It all boils down to if JT is facing Pavlik just because he HAS to. For some reason Miranda wouldn't be marketed as well as Pavlik is, and therefore could be avoided.
And I do believe that JT fears big punchers.

Taylor will suprise people. think back to when he fought MIDDLEWEIGHTS. His big shots land cleaner. I remember watching the ouma fight and ouma's defense and leg posture was helping him roll with shots and deflect them. He might get ktfo but he'll rock pavlik.

Yep, and leading up to the fight a lot of people would be predicting how Miranda (now Pavlik) would KO Taylor, because he was this unstoppable monster.

JT is not the ducking type, no reason to believe he would have ducked him.

There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that we would be seeing JT vs Miranda.

I think it questionable if whether or not JT would have faced Miranda at 160? Before the Pavlik fight, he was hyped up to be this mystical creature with superhuman punching power. I just feel JT would have moved up. I definitely don't think Miranda would have the same scrutiny as Pavlik.

The question is not whether Taylor would have been scared, cause I too think JT fears no man, but would the money have been right??
Pavlik Ko 7.
Remember Pavlik accepted chumps change for this fight.

If Miranda had won . . . it's Miranda vs Taylor now. :yep
Miranda has been openly talking of how he would destroy JT even during the Pav/Miranda press conference so there's should be no question on the fight pushing through.
JT avoiding Miranda? :-( That's bullshit, JT never runs away from anybody.
What same questions r u talking about?:huh

If Miranda beat Pavlik he would be fighting JT and he would get his ass whiped, same style like JT, I would still like to see him at 160, he is still a contender, but he should do good things at 168.
