I'm picking Larsen but how motivated will he be for this fight ? He came very close to fight Bute for his belt, then there were those strong rumors about a "mega danish fight" with Kessler... so ending up fighting Sartison for the EU belt must be some kind of a "downer".

I m a tad uncertain, Larsen in his hey days imo was a much more gifted fighter than sartison ever will be but the crucial point is he now is beyond his prime. So anything can happen

Well, if you can take anything away from the Cocco fight, it's that Larsen is still in shape and can still hit.

Sartison is a tough nut to crack, though.

Prime Larsen would beat Sartison off course. The question is, is Larsen still in his prime ? And if he is not, does he still have enough left in him for someone as Sartison, who is not on elite level, but still a strong contender. I hope for Larsen, always liked him.

Some rumors about Larsen not being in shape and his promoter tries to postpone the fight. You never know with Larsen, but the fight is still on.

I saw a tv-clip where some reporters visited Germany and talked to Larsenīs trainer there...the trainer said: we have no idea where Mads is ....if you see him then tell him to contact us :lol:

Instead of fighting against Sartison...Mads Larsen will now face Brian Magee for the smw european title.
