Doesn't look too good to me. Shaky, at best.
I wouldn't be too worried about it. Moore has matured physically beyon comparison.

Unless Michael Jones has found a time machine and done the unthinkable I don't think so.

Cedric Daniels I think it was. Bald black guy, Bunk and Mcnultys boss. Excellent actor.
Obviously its not him, just a spitting image.

Give over. I bet you've never even seen him fight. He had a war with Macklin and stood up to it. His chin is fine, don't you worry.

When you say 'done twice', do you mean dropped twice, if so then yes i was, but i came back in the same round and had him out on his feet.
I walked onto the 1st one coz I was over eager coz of what had happened in the 2nd fight when i got DQ'd, so doubled the impact. Listen I aint Eubank or Clinton Woods (both of whom I regard as having granite chins) but i'v got decent whiskers.:good

Yeah, I meant down.

Stupid typo.

Was just wondering 'cause I've never seen the fight.

Jamie,
What have you done to improve your physique and overall size whilst remaining at 154lbs? The pics above, one from 5 years or so ago, one from recently, its quite noticeable. Somebody on here even accused you of roids the other week! :yep
You look like a beast these days.

I know cheeky bastard!! Basically I started doing strength work with kerry kayes and kerry put me on his diet for the boxers, simple as that really. He's turned me into a MACHINE!!
Think it's the composition of my body which has changed really, bit more muscle, bit less fat. Think i look bigger coz i'm leaner. Mrs loves it!!:good That pic with facey was 2 years ago, started with kerry 6 months after.
That pic with Facey was just under two years ago, Oct '07. Started with Kerry in March '08

So the plan is basically to make you as strong as possible at that weight...... do you adjust the amount of reps or the weight on them?
It does seem odd how long boxing has taken to cotton on to the strength and conditioning factor, instead relying on the old method of drying out :-(
Not that I ever go in a gym mind... stick to the pavements :yep

You're so full of shit. Yeah a fighter with a "shaky at best" chin has 32 fights with a come forward, toe to toe style and has only lost by stoppage twice.
One of which early in his career was down to severe weight draining if I remember correctly.
Don't you think a fighter who is known for being in wars and standing and trading might have been stopped a few more times if their chin was below shaky as you insinuate?
Here he is against Matthew Macklin who has 18 KOs from 25 wins, with his "shaky at best" chin some how coming through...
Try actually watching this fight through...

Jamie is a classic example of what can be done when you are totally dedicated. Not saying he wasn't before, but add a bit of science to it and these are the results you get.
With his come forward style, his chin is always going to get tested and so far it's come through well!
However, without wishing to be disrespectful, there is a difference between getting hit by Ryan Rhodes and the likes of Michael Jones and getting tagged by Martinez or the likes of Kermit Cintron. His chin will be SERIOUSLY tested when he steps up in class as I'm sure he will do if he wins this fight :good

Questions about chins are overrated. How many fighters at the top level have never been down? Eubank was knocked down by Calzaghe and Benn, Chavez v Randall for example.
Anyone can be knocked down if caught right.
It's about balance and defence isn't it and if you are tagged or knocked down how you recover. Moore took it to Jones after being down so don't think there are any worries there, plus his defensive skills are underrated.

Jamie will stop him in four, five rounds unless Rhodes gets lucky. I got Murray right on sat, got McAllister-Murray wight a year ago. I know stylistically what gets to these unorthadox fighters and Rhodes would have to roll back the years to be able to produce the movement required to beat someone like Moore. Plus Rhodes doesn't like southpaws. The one thing in his favour is he's got a great little trainer in DC but I still don't think that will be enough.
Watch this..... Add on a couple of rounds and take away the knockdowns. This is how Jamie will win.
