'Pavlik comes right at Taylor, this suits Taylor better than P4P guys like Wright and Hopkins and slick guys like Spinks'
- Wrong Taylor apologists, pressure fucks him up dearly, but you all can't understand this if it hit you in the face.
'Taylor is going to box Pavlik, he outboxed Hopkins for christs sakes'
- Wrong again Taylor apologists, he did not outbox Hopkins, he brought the fight to Hopkins by way of aggression, learn the difference between outboxing and pressing the fight aggressively behind a jab.
'Jermain Taylor's resume is one of the best in the sport, he is irrefutably a top P4P fighter and has already accomplished so much'
- Wrong, yet again, what a surprise Taylor apologists. 3 controversial decisions and then victories over overmatched smaller fighters, unimpressively I may add is no more impressive than dominating Tomasz Adamek, which is what Dawson did. How a fight is won is not taken into consideration, nor is the real state of the opponent.
Taylor deserves no top 10 ranking. The Spinks fight could have been a draw and the Wright fight was a clear win for Wright.
'Jermain Taylor could very well lose to Pavlik, but he could still have a bright future at 168'
- Laughable, my Taylor apologising ESB posting mates, Pavlik is a lesser all around fighter than the entire SMW top 10 and will have little success there himself. Before the bout was announced, everyone said Pavlik has technical issue's and is a good solid fighter but not great, now there are talks of him being ranked P4P when he KO's the Taylor fraud.
Taylor's career as a top fighter ends after Pavlik KO's him.
'It pisses me off that Taylor gets no flak, he fought Hopkins and Wright and is proven beyond reasonable doubt!'
- I rest my case.

Care to back up your agreement, Dane Pug
I'll bet you a six month absence from this site - or are you too much of a chicken shit to take that up?I don't do money nor absence bets... Take it like you will. Nor would I want you to leave either, as I have stated before - its more fun to gloat if people remain.
Sometimes Amsterdam you are guilty of exageratting. Whilst Margo was over rated, and as you know I picked Williams as well, he was certainly NO journeyman. And as you are right about Taylor not being the elite talent perhaps the Ring percieved him to be, he has proved himself to be world class. Pavlik may very well beat him, but he is not a bum. If he was as bad as you say, Hop, Winky or Spinks would all have beaten him convincingly. I know sometimes your posts are tongue in cheek, but to totally rule Taylor out is a mistake IMO. His chin has not shown weakness yet. And although he hasn't looked great, no one has found a way to dominate him. He is a better technical fighter then Miranda, with more natural talent, and outside of a freakish KO by Pavlik, this will be a closer fight then you think IMO.

I can understand your restlessness buddy . . . time is so near. :D
Relax and just take a deep breath. The more bullshit you dish out the more shame you're exposing yourself to . . . once Taylor wins.
You'll be in the HALL of SHAME friend. :yep :good

Time off bets are stupid. Avatar bets are FAR better. I really think it was a dumb move to make a 7 month off bet. You are a good poster Amsterdam, and boxing is never certain as you would know. Your abscence would detract from the board.

Six month avatar bet - when Pavlik loses. You are on - I normally don't do these things, but okay...

Ah ah ah . . . no way brother. :nono
Then the six month signature and avatar bet with me starts when he shows up. That would be prolonging the agony. :rofl:hey

Do you really have a six months off bet? :think

Do you really have a six months off bet? :think
Correct, I go for 7 months if I am incorrect. However, the six month bet with you becomes enabled immediatley and stands for six months after my return on top of it, since 6 months of no activity does not count.
That equals an entire year of feeling the sting for being an ass if I am incorrect.

Because you are not a Taylor apologist, you simply like the suspect fighter and that's well and fine, you pick here with logic and do not present an apologetic front for the disgraces loose ends.
Taylor has little to no chance and none of these Taylor apologising fools understand that, they happen to insist that pressuring Taylor brings out the best in him.
When we all know that he doesn't react well to pressure. See the apologism?
It drives me nuts, but I'm probably insane to begin with.:nut

Put your money where your mouth is - 6 month ban from the server if Taylor wins.
I don't take those silly time off bets - however, I will take yet another avatar bet if you like.
Since I have several going, if Taylor by some rare chance doesn't get starched, I will have Taylor avatars for the next several months, easily!
