Either (or neither) Tony would win, but boxing would be the big loser in this zzzz-athon.

Tucker should be favored, but given the rather non-aggressive nature of both men, a surprise upset is a very real possibilty. I don't see either of these men doing much to impress the judges and certainly not the fans who would likely have paid too much for too little.

TNT was infinitely more talented.
After all he was a top contender who like so many other 80's fighters never fullfilled his true potential because of mental problems and he had been a top amateur during one of the best eras of US amateur boxing.
The Tiger on the other hand is at best a fringe contender with limted skill.
Granted that TNT comes in with his mind properly set he'd win easily probably a UD or maybe a late TKO.

And was nearly killed in one by Herbie Hide shortly afterwards.
The man was never consistent.

not even competitive...TNT is way better than Thompson. Tucker by KO or stoppage in a one sided encounter...

Tucker is the more busy man by far, so I would pick Tony Tucker to beat Thompson by UD.
