Fury and Price (Dallas??) might get to Brit level possibly Euro. Can't see the rest doing much beyond losing British title challenges, if that.

Scott Belshaw - Belshaw could still become Irish champion.
Alex Ibbs - Ibbs will one day reach puberty.
Tyson Fury - Fury will probably end up a Euro belt contender.
David Price - Price has talent but his chin will stop him going further than British champ.
Richard Towers - Towers will probably contend a domestic title of some sort.
Scott Mitchell - Not seen him fight.
Tom Dallas - Dallas has a decent punch so could be a dark horse in the division domestically. I would say he can become British champ.
Larry Oubamiwo - Will get to KFC then Burger Kinger than back to KFC before ending his night at Pizza Hut.

Price is a class apart from that list. He's a real prospect.

scott belshaw- May be a British title contender but nothing more
Derek Chisora- On his way to a hiding by Tyson Fury, also who gives a fuck he stays at the level he's at.
alex ibbs- Not seen him fight.
tyson fury- Big question mark here. He has been moved along too quickly and should really switch trainers to take him to the next level. Most likely Euro title I feel.
david price- Maybe British title but as has been said before his chin will limit his progress.
richard towers- Not seen him fight.
scott mitchell- Not seen him fight.
tom dallas-Not seen him fight.
larry olubamiwo- Not seen him fight.

Answer: Nowhere.
Belshaw will stay as a lower level domestic fighter, he will win against the scrubbs but will be an activity fight for the top guys who are looking to get back on the comeback trail after a loss, easy win for the top guys.
Ibbs is going nowhere either. He'll be a journeyman at best. Anybody that gets stopped by David Ingleby can forgot World/European/British title aspirations.
Fury has the best chance of any of them, but he's really struggled his last 2 fights and I think they've shown his flaws. He may improve with Rob McCracken, and I expect him to improve to the point where he might win a British title at some point, but I fear he may turn into the new Pele Reid.
Price obviously has Olympic exposure and proven power, but his whisker's are shaky and he's just not active enough. British/low European level at best.
Towers & Dallas I've never seen fight, either of them, but I'm not getting my hopes up there either.
Larry lost to Dani Peret, enough said.

I think Price has an iron jaw.
Seriously, just because some fat pikey twat said he had a dodgy chin doesn't mean he does, what else is there to say he has a shit chin.

i know little about British boxing but most these guys havent had 10 fights yet. is it not a bit early to be judging them?

they will go nowhere and fast. fury needs an incredible amount of honing.
price could do well but we've seen one fight and the buzz has gone.

I reckon with proper training/management Price will go far, his chin is underrated I think, the square-on shot he took in his pro debut would have wobbled anyone.

He got rocked in his first fight.
Was that when he dropped his gummy, stopped and gave his seventeen stone opponent (who has four stoppages in his six wins) a free shot at his chin. As he stood square on? Before going onto brutally KO the same guy (who only has 9 stoppages in 26 losses) in the next round?
Yeah, thought so.
I think the chin comes more from his amateur days and in particular when he was rocked by Cammarelle in the olympics.
Personally, I think it's been blown out of proportion. His chin remains untested.
And out of that list, Price is the only one I expect to kick on.

Richard Towers - Towers will probably contend a domestic title of some sort.
Which says more about the division than it does about Towers.

Well, I dont anyway!

fat or muscle mass it's still too much weight to carry and it'll retrict your movement

It's all pretty miserable really.
Price probably is the best bet, he very orthodox though, bit like Woodall and when he meets a talented "Gunslinger" type he's had it for my money.
Fury has been moved along too quickly and needs to steady the ship a bit, so the Jury's out but I haven't totally given up hope even after the McDermott fiasco.
Dallas maybe british challenger.
Haven't seen too much of the others but Chisora is shit! he might make the end of his bed one day.

Well how does he get his super human shame then? I think Larry can be around the domestic mix in a year or so but he still needs alot of work. His size and strength plus the way he looks will open a few doors so built up right he can get a shot at some sort of domestic belt. The idea of him actually winning the belt is ridiculous though.

They only one of that list who appears hungry, which is pretty much the first skill to achieve things in boxing, is Tyson Fury.
All the others are doing a whole lot of messing things up and that's all.

He got rocked in his first fight.
He has also only fought once since his first fight in March, what is he waiting for, injuries aside?
Fury, was seriously exposed and it is time to see whether this guy actually has the stamina and discipline and desire. I dont think he has.
Belshaw is a joke and is not even British title class.
The rest listed I will reserve my judgment on as I have not seen them fight.
Therefore, none of them will get above British title level IMO.

He signed with Hayemaker and after the Setanta collapse he was left with a promoter that couldnt get him any fights.
He has signed with Maloney now and fights on 16th Oct in Sunderland and then again on 23rd in Bolton.
No injuries.

I just can't understand this point of view. Fury, after 7 fights won against a domestic class, 30 fight veteran. Fair enough, the actual result can be argued but I don't think he was 'exposed' at all. If anything he could take more positives than negatives. The guy's a natural fighter and Euro class easily.:good

I agree with you. But I think he may reach Euro level simply due to the dearth of talent in the division and the marketing machine behind him.

Marketing machine? Mick Hennesey?
He couldn't flog a cure for cancer!
Anyways, he wouldn't be the first to prosper in a poor division would he? Until the wall fell and the Slavs came into the European fold Europe was hardly noted for it's Heavyweight boxers. The last European title fight I saw was Skelton/Vidoz. Fury would have beat either of them that night. They were shockingly poor.
