He said on his BBC London show (8-9pm) should be rubber-stamped tomorrow.

Good to see. Got to say I like primetime showing froch-pascal/Taylor. Hope they show bits of dirrell and Abraham as well.

Why wasn't there a reminder that the show was on!

Good to hear Buncey has got some more work to do - maybe it will sway me to purchase the PPV :think

Hopefully they get Andy Kerr and Richie "believe you me" Woodhall on board as well. I hope Buncey does a throwback Setanta night where he reads our emails and posts out on a topic :yep.

Bunce would be a great presenter for showtime. He has the style to bring in people who've just booked it off the cuff as well as long term followers of the sport.

This the knid of thing that makes me hope that the chances are that primetime may be a long term boxing site not just a one off...why would bunce sign a one of contract....He cant be that desperate:happy

It must have been the emails that Doug, Greg and I sent, that swayed it LOL!!!

I agree, Woodhall is an excellent commentator. I hope this channel takes off, and it has a good chance if they can improve on what Sky offer us as a PPV show.

As, a lot of people noted, the PPV Khan v Kotelnik card didnt even show the likes of Kell Brook, Enzo etc, not even highlights, and the show was short for a PPV. And I havent even mentioned the 'safe' commentary.:yep

This is nearly a done deal.
Not sure about Little Andy, but Richie is with Five Live.
There will be a massive interactive slot.
I will post email address as soon as I have it.
Don't forget the show in Nottingham on Tuesday night.
Also, for all Kirkland Laing fans there will be the first chance to buy a book about his life on Tuesday at the Crowne Plaza.

Adios.

A massive interactive slot, sounds like Primetime are going alone the right lines and this can only be a good thing for building up the fights and audience. This is great news and I hope that it is sealed soon.

I dont think this will be a long term project no matter what people say. I have yet to see any sort of advertisements for this and apart from major boxing fans I dont think this will do the numbers that will be able to keep this going. It is all on Frochs shoulders to keep this going. If the shock happends and Froch gets beaten how many people will want to fork out more money to see him in the next fight the numbers will fall and fall.

I read in Boxing Monthly that a PPV channel was set up for Lennox Lewis's first fight against the Atomic Bull, when he got knocked out the channel never surfaced again..

Here's hoping :good it's our best chance of catching these super six fights live in this country (legally)

Whats the score with setting up a PPV channel, is it available through Freesat, Virgin Media etc for example or have they had to do a deal with Sky?

Oh dear, this seems to suggest, from the horses mouth, that Bunce isn't part fo this. Unless they have Rosenthal at ringside and Bunce in the Studio?

Great news. No-one wants to pay extra to watch boxing on TV but the big broadcasters ignored this and hopefully Primetime allow Bunce the freedom to make a proper show like on Setanta.

I'm going to the fight but I'll buy Primetime anyway and watch the next day. Lets get behind this.

Great stuff. 7 hours of boxing plus Buncey banter. The interactive bit with the emails really adds to the experience. A million times more fun than Sky's stuffy and slick presentation.

[Only registered and activated users can see links] was a FAN-driven campaign to restore Buncey and Kerr to our TV screens, I think we have achieved a small victory here. Well done to Primetime TV for listening to the fans, this is a good start to what we hope is a successful new venture.

I'd curious about that as well. If they don't use Showtime, what'll be the deal the Taylor fight, for instance? Someone commentating from a UK studio?
