Coliseum Complex Event, Grensboro, North Carolina, USA - Elvir Muriqi wins first match this year in the united states over Tiwon Taylor. Muriqi fights two matches this year in the Europe, with former world champion Clinton Woods in the Great Britain and Oleksander Garaschenko in the Kosovo and backs in the united states ring with high performance.

Elvir "Kosovo Kid" Muriqi 37-5 (23 KO) beats Tiwon Taylor with TKO 2. This match was great for albanian fighter who will back in the race for challanging world title. With this win Muriqi will back in the all world top-15 rankings.

Muriqi expact to fight in the undercard of Pasqual vs Diaconu in the December 10-th. The winner of the fight Pasqual vs Diaconu will fight Muriqi in the early spring according to the Muriqi staff.

I'm not sure knocking out Tiwon Taylor should automatically put someone in contention, but good for Muriqi if he's being lined up for a shot at the Pascal-Diaconu winner. It'll be one last payday anyway. :yep

Muriqi is very talented but he did`nt have support for any good promoter till now. I hope Greg Leon will help him in future, he is good just need to give him a chance. The former promoter Joe DeGuardia sell him with Tarver and same did with Woods this year. Muriqi will be good to fight Yusuf Mack in the undercard of Pasqual vs Diaconu at December 10th.

Mack is trying to get a fight with Stieglitz around that date for the WBO in Germany.

Did anyone realize Muriqi-Taylor was a rematch? He'd already TKO'ed him in 3 rounds six years back. What a pointless fight, other than staying busy...still, there wasn't anyone better available?

Good news, I like Mack, he have all thinks to be world champion.

Unless Mack is Superman to fight twice in a week that leaves Muriqi without an opponent.

Muriqi doing a right think, he wants to stayed active and was good match for him. Muriqi will fight in the undercard in the December 10-th, this is a good news for Muriqi fans.

If Tarver somehow worms his way back into contention and steals an alphabet title, and Muriqi catches an older and slower version of him in a rematch...then maybe.

No other circumstance that I can foresee, though.

You cant seriously be complaining that Joe got him an undeserved title shot with Tarver and an undeserved title eliminator with Woods? What do you want him to do, just try to find the weakest titlist?

What Joe DeGuardia did for Muriqi ?

With Tarver :
Tarver was name in that time. Before fight with Muriqi he played in the movie trailer "Rocky VI". Tarver wants comeback to fight for title again, DeGuardia was promoter of both of them, after that he wants Tarver to win and to gets money with him because Muriqi was unknows in that time. DeGuardia pushed judges to see Tarver like a winner, this is true. After that Tarver divorced with Joe and he tell to Muriqi staff that he wrong for his descion, he says that Muriqi will better for me and for boxing to be winner on that night. Everybody who saw that fight knows that Muriqi was little bit better....

About Woods :
Again DeGuardia did`nt show respect for Muriqi. He did`nt pay any good trainer anf the others think. Muriqi travell in the England alone with his trainer and asistent. The Woods staf make fight how they like, they did`nt show in the TV becasue they dident belive on his fighter. If the fight will happen in USA, Muriqi will win by KO, I garantiue this ...

Spoke to Muriqi the other day he doesnt kno whos hes fightin next, but i wind him up daily cos tbh he got schooled by clinton woods lol
