View Full Version : Fragomeni to fight Erdei
A few sources (fight news and bscene) say this fight will happen on November 21st in Kiel, Germany.
Surprised to see Erdei stepping up in weight.

have you got a link for this?
In case he stays at 175 its likely he ll have to face Brahmer soon, neither of the two fancies such a match as was reported. :think
Check the scene of boxing (can't post links to that here).

Like a british friend of mine would say:
''I seen it!It's all over the tele!IIt's bloody mental!''
That is strange. Erdei does not have the physical requirments for cruiserweight division. I was hoping to see Erdei against some of the top Americans at 175.

Its been confirmed in the papers here - a strange decision it remains
Talk is he s up to cruiserweight for one fight only and might announce his retirement directly after or else move back down to 175. In the latter case he will in the long run collide with stablemate Jurgen Brahmer

Erdei has decent skills but is he strong enough to tackle with Fragomeni, the man is very tough although he is getting old I guess at 40.
Erdei was never a big light-heavy this seems very strange, something is not right I think in this fight.
Erdei cannot hurt him surely therefore he has to box and move for 12 rounds and I know he has done this many times but not against someone so strong and naturally 25-35 lbs bigger.
Can Erdei take a shot from Fragomeni, how is his chin, can't remember him being in big trouble before but I have only seen a handful of his fights

I think the possibilty of this fight not going the distance is low.
this fight will definatly imo go to the score cards....id put some money on the over.
for starters Fragomeni is a light hitter and not a really good finisher, same with Erdei.
For Giaccobbe he would pretty much have to out hussle him like he does his other opponents (Rossito, Kraj etc...)
Both men are shadowed by age as well so for the most part this fight will be a tactical battle.
Erdei's key to victory is to not tie up with Frago as much as Wlod did.
Utilize the jab and speed and keep scoring points.\
For Fragomeni he would have to out hussle him like he did to previous opponents like Kraj and Rossito.
tough fight to pick a winner but it will definatly go to the score cards, at least past 10 rounds.
Erdei is finished, they are cashing him out. going up to cruiser first means they can cash him out twice as they can blame it on the weight and he will still have a belt at 175. He will get pummeled by Fragomeni then Brahmer.
