I've been counting down the days since the announcements - this is boxing christmas for me. The atmosphere in Berlin and in Nottingham should be electric. The two fights should be great in their own way. My hope is that this event and concept really takes off, gets more sponsors on board and maybe makes the likes of HBO look at it and give them an idea to do one of their own in another weight class. Plus with Bunce and co. back and all the other highlights of Pascal, Dunne etc it should be a great night.

The main thing thats annoying me about this not being on Virgin is that i watch all my boxing in my home cinema on a 9ft screen and an internet stream, legal or not, will ruin the experience

I've got chipped cable, so I normally get Box Office no problem.
If I re-scan should I get Primetime?

No you wont. By cable i assume you mean Virgin. Its a completly different platform to Sky. You're in the same situation as everyone else on cable.

i'm wishing days of my life away for this to get here, but thats the nature of boxing, these type of events are so few and far between we fans practically wish months and years of our lifes would go quicker, which is something to ponder

Some old news but relevant for us Virgin customers. 900k quality stream changes everything for me. Thats acceptable for a big screen especially upscaled :good
PrimeTime TV have confirmed that in addition to their SKY channel 480 broadcast of the big fight, that a 900k high-quality stream feed will also be available until further transmission platforms are avalaible.
************** are reliably informed that the PrimeTime broadcasting team will consist of presenters Jim Rosental and Andy Kerr, backed up by John Rawling and the ever popular Steve Bunce.
The stream player shall be capable of pausing, rewinding and fast-forwarding.
Streaming shall commence at 8pm, with the first main fight of the evening featuring Jermain Taylor vs Arthur Abraham live from the 02 in Germany.
Later the action will switch live to Nottingham Arena, where an undercard featuring Adnan Amar vs Tom Glover and Young Mutley also in action.
Then the main fight of the evening, Carl 'the Cobra' Froch vs Andre 'the Matrix' Dirrell as Froch defends his WBC title against the Olympian from Flint, Michigan.
"We're new to boxing broadcasting and naturally their will also be sceptism of newcomers. But we have a wealth of experience onboard and are looking to make a statement and hopefully win many boxing fans over." said a Prime Time source.
Forthcoming fights rumoured to be aired by PrimeTime include the Mikkell Kessler vs Andre Ward fight from Oakland, USA next month.

I am hoping to make it an even better night by picking a couple of winners, still undecided with the Taylor v Abraham fight, but reckon Froch will pummel Dirrell.
Yep, there's everyone chance Taylor will outpoint AA but then again Abraham could take Taylor's head off with one punch...it's a tough one to pick (which is what's so great about this tournament!).

I am going to watch loads of Abraham fights tommorrow and a couple more Taylor and then decide. But, it aint too often we get such 50-50 fights, as you say, it is why this tourney is class.
