Is this a question about chess? Because I sure as hell don't see any way that Forrest could beat Liddell in the octagon. He simply doesn't have any strengths that would exploit any of Liddell's weaknesses.

Liddell would win, but its a joke about Goldie fucking up the fighters for the main event saturday, I assume anyway.

Liddel is being sooo underrated after his defeat to Jackson its stupid.

I think even starting a poll about this and comparing him to Forrest Griffin is an insult to him.

It just made me wonder because they had them side by side on the split screen last night. Nobody mentioned a fight between the two, but I wouldn't rule it out if both keep winning.

I know shit about MMA so just getting some opinions.

Ok. My opinion is they are in two completely different leagues. Liddel is world class, one of the top 3 Lt Heavys in the world and I think still a fringe top 10 fighter in all of MMA. He has 2 KO victories over Randy Couture for christs sake :deal He got slopppy, maybe a little overconfident and got caught on the button by a shot from Rampage and KOed. Is he slipping? Maybe, but that one loss alone does not do enough to expose this :deal Chuck is still a serious threat to anyone in the division and the only one I would really favor over him are Rampage, Henderson and maybe Rua.

Forrest Griffin, while being a tough son-of-a-bitch and having a huge heart just doesn't measure up in the skills department. He barely beat Stephan Bonner....in a stand up war :think He got beat by Ortiz (although controversial, I thought he lost and was dominated in the first round) and got starched by Jardine was brought back to acting like a fucking 12yr old afterwards :deal
But the most important thing is that obviously Griffin cannot stand with Liddel for an entire fight, nobody can, but he also doesn't have the wrestling and ground game to get him down, keep him down and beat him down.

Liddel would knock him out within 2 rounds.
