A couple of questions :blood

I haven't had a confirmation email or anything, anyone else?

What undercard fights will they be showing?

Who are the commentators?

Do I need to keep my phoneline plugged in all night?

Is my identity going to be stolen and my bank account emptied because there was no secuirty on the Primetimelive website?

Will I get to see the weigh-in?

David (username `Primetimelive` on ESB) kindly passed on this email address.

However, it's been 24 hours and I've had no response to my questions yet - I also didn't get a confirmation email (stream for me) whereas other people did.

I just want to make sure I don't try and log into the stream on Saturday night and end up with an `Error` message or something, and then not have enough time to get it sorted.

What is Primetime? Is it provided by a satellite company or internet? Is the one price for both fights?

One price for both fights but it's only available online in UK and ROI. Think you might be out of luck mate.

Does anyone know if the primetime stream starts at 9.30,like the tv broadcast?

12.95 is a bit steep for a stream, there is no other way i can watch it other than online in my flat. Looks like i am going to have to get a few heads round and split the cost.

Bodysnatcher
10-16-2009, 01:20 PM
£12.95 isn't cheap for a stream but it is a 6 hour broadcast packed with lots of other good stuff apart from the two big fights.

I'm happy to pay it.

Just hoping it actually works...

Why are you all talking about it being a £12.95 stream? It's on Sky Channel 480, it's a TV broadcast not a stream. :huh

Two methods of broadcast fella.

Sky and an internet stream for those without Sky.

Fair enough. It seems like a lot of people are confused though and think it's just a stream again.

Is my identity going to be stolen and my bank account emptied because there was no secuirty on the Primetimelive website?

I've had no confirmation and the lack of security and an automated billing system on the site doesn't inspire me with confidence. I haven't got a credit card so had to use my debit on my current account.

I'm not even sure I gave the right viewing card number, it's the nine-digit one right? :think

I was going to buy it from their website for £12.95, but you have to pay another £2.50 registration fee on top.

No thanks, that is just too much.

Supposedly you won't have to pay it whenever you pay for future Super Six fights. It is too much overall though. Still, two cracking fights...

Anyone concerned about not getting a confirmation email, contact them at the address I posted earlier in the thread and tell them your username and email addy.

They got back to me (finally) and told me I was set to go (for the online stream) and told me my password, which I already knew, but proves they really did check for my details.

It's for American television, it's not uncommon for UK fights to take place late to cater to American networks. Calzaghe vs Lacy was at 2am.

Setanta did something similar. They had a 'connection fee' that had to be paid when you signed up to them.

Does anyone know what it means by direct debit?

I hope this doesnt mean they are going to charge your account each month? just reading the small print and it is saying something about having to cancel with your bank, bit confused as I thought this was a one off payment.

Thanks

^ It's just a one off payment but I don't understand why they're giving DD as a payment option. I paid by CC.

I have a feeling its not going to work.

So do I. And no doubt if this is the case there'll be no Primetime staff working late enough tomorrow night to sort out any problems.

Anyone know what time the coverage of the Taylor card starts so we'll know when to start phoning?

They better shown Hernandez-Licina on the AA-Taylor undercard. Better than any of the fights Mick has put on the Froch card.

I got that email too but I'm still paranoid. They still aint taken the payment yet for the direct debit. I've covered all bases spoke to one of their staff this week, she told me it was sorted - she even told me not to worry (hah!) - plus I had that email.

Still paranoid coz I don't wanna miss this.

HI mate - I emailed at 22:18hrs last night and got an email back at 22:29hrs (so 12 mins to respond). Below is their email:

"You have registered successfully, just go to the channel on the night and press select twice to confirm"

Thanks

Maybe try him direct [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Admittedly this is still abit vague but it's evidence if I need to kick off later....

I ordered for Sky over the internet. No confirmation and so on. Just pressed record on sky+ for the Froch and Taylor fights and it took me to the "do you want to order this event" screen. I pressed select and everything seem OK. Can't wait for these two fights. :good

Right I plugged the sky box into the wall, put in my details on the site e.g. house nunmber, sky card number, address, name etc

Then I stuck in my credit card details and hit go.

Got this message:

UK and Eire Residents Only

Thank you for registering for Prime Time.

The registration fee will be debited from your credit card, thereafter you will only be charged for what you view.

You will be charged a registration fee of £2.50 plus the cost of this PRIMETIME event at £14.95

© 2009 RHF Productions Ltd. All Rights Reserved.

At no time did it confirm the amount that will be debited, just straight to this message and from this page there isn't even a link back to their homepage. What kind of bullshit outfit is this.

I've had no confirmation email either. Will this just automatically come on at 9:30 or do I have to press some button, all I'm seeing at the minute is the preview.

I never put no username and password in either so how do I check it went through and I havent just paid my £2.50 registration fee?
