I had the same problem. Sky told me it was because the phone line isn't plugged in to my sky box. I need to buy one tomorrow, just hope it works

Phoned Sky who confirmed that my skybox is connected and that all the details I gave are correct.
I've emailed that address.

Oh shit. I can't see any fraud going on but I can see a lot of us missing this fight through Sky. Fucking BBC ignoring a true world champion defending at home, really wish I didn't have to pay those lefty bastards anymore.
Yeah, I'm very wary about this whole thing but I've still handed over my details!

me too. I have no idea if this has worked at all. I completed the TV section on the website, gave them my address, viewing card number, email and phone number & credit card. I got a message saying they would take the £2.50 reg fee and I would only be billed for what I watch. No automated email or anything from them to say all is good. I plugged sky into the phone line (hadnt had it plugged in before as I moved recently) before I did any of this. I guess we find out tommorrow night at 8! I want £2.50 back if this f**ks up tho

I had the same issue - even though my line is connected (checked system set-up, then system test). Just Rang them and they took details of me and told me I'm set-up. Hopefully no issues, as can't wait for these fights..
same here website was bullshit but the rang them and it was sorted quickly

I got email confirmation from them. I think it only matters that the phone line is plugged in when you try to view so it can dial and say ok you have paid and wont scramble. They said the viewing card was right and ready to go. As a precaution I will just plug sky straight into the phone line before I view...
what number is everyone calling?
999 when they realise its a con:good
this is why i didnt order it. bullshit
