BOXING: Heavyweight Audley Harrison to make 'low-key' return to ring on 29 September.

This story is running on the BBC Sport website - why is this guy still making headlines???

Still a big name isnt he, regardless of his failiures. I'd still pick him to defeat Gammer, and it wouldnt surprise me if he defeated Williams, Sprott or Skelton. The BBXC must feel pretty silly giving him £1m for that 10 fight deal now.

They must have got good viewing figures for some of his fights though.

I like Harrison.

He is just too smart for boxing though.

yep, it was short term gain for long term loss. They had good viewing figures, but it damaged the reputation of boxing on the BBC and also damaged their trust in the sport (imo).

Imagine if they'd have got Haye on that sort of deal!!

Sprott must be a hero at the BBC for chinning Audley out.

He is still a MAJOR domestic player. He DOMINATED Williams and he was clearly winning up until the ko against Sprott. Performing as bad as he could he still only lost to Williams by a point, maybe two. Harrison should be able to beat Sprott in a rematch and maybe even Skelton.

Audley should easily beat sprott in a rematch. I think skelton would beat audley.
