No way man... absolute horse-shit scoring.
I agree with the point taken off and was frustrated with Dirrell's bitching and complaining but he made Froch look dire.
He landing pretty much all the meaningful punches, great counterpunching.
Very disappointing scoring.

He clearly won. Had it 9 rounds to 3, i gave Froch the first when it could have being scored level too.
Very one sided fight in fovour of Dirrell

I had Dirrel winning by three points and that is with the point deduction which i think was harsh and also being fair and probably slightly biased towards Froch.

Well fuck off down to specsavers so cos Froch barely won a round in reality. He is a cheating, dirty fighter too. Fucker should have been disqualified for punching to the back of the head all through the fight. That was bent judging of the highest order:twisted:

And it's about time too! The home town champ should always get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the close rounds and there were at least seven very close rounds in the fight.
Junior Witter should have got the decision against Bradley too.

I had it £1500 from bet365 ...so dumsey dumsey mate ! .....:rofl...laffin all the way to the bank ..... Dirrell should realise he can run but he cant hide ...

Good for you but Froch lost that fight and was exposed in the worst way in front of his home crowd and you all know it.
Any chance Froch had of getting a decent fanbase behind him has flown out the window, especially after that classless post fight interview.

If Dirrell had fought with more aggression in the first 5 rounds then i would be a few hundred out of pocket now but he was way too defensive....
Froch was hunting him down through those rounds and evrytime he was in range Dirrell chose the ballroom dancing route to win the fight ....
I wonder how chinny this guy is as i think hes been down a bit in sparing and this was his game plan to keep out of frochs range !

He's nothing like Mayweather. Mayweather uses movement but he can fight inside, infact he's masterful there. He ain't doing any of that clinching every time bullshit.

Kessler will destroy him, I mean its pretty clear (although it was before tonights fight really).
I hope people still don't think Froch would have had a chance against Calzaghe....

It was only fools/cheerleaders like cityofgod that know jack about boxing that ever thought Froch had even a slither of a chance to beat Calzaghe.

If he had thrown combinations and moved raher than dancing about all night then he would have easily won that. However he just ran and clinched whenever he felt danger.
Mayweather may be defensive but he uses movement and can thrown combinations..dirrell cant!

Froch beat Dirrel. It was Dirrel who was bleeding from the mouth and nose. Dirrel was running, holding, complaining, not fighting. Froch landed more punches.
i think showtime only had dirrell winning by a couple, and in their own words with a lot of those close rounds
the wide scoreline for froch was stupid, but the other two were reasonable imo

Both fighters are incredibly dire, it is irrelevant.
Ward was the only hope America had, but he's straight in against Kessler.

Froch, at times, looked totally out of his depth, against a guy who everyone says is "out of his depth". That puts Carl's performance in context, IMO.
But THE most annoying thing is Froch moaning about Dirrell not standing and fighting. FFS, thats boxing, fighters have different styles and tactics, why bitch and moan about it, just because you got made to look like a jumped up domestic fighter. :roll:

I think Dirrell won the fight but let's face it mate, you were 100% against Froch before the fight, so lets not make out that this fight turned you against him.

I can see why they call that kid the matrix. Froch was getting undressed in parts of the fight. Dirrell had carl stunned at many points in the fight (the legs usually give it away) and he showed incredible reflexes. When i was watching the fight i kept thinking, in the next round froch will catch him with something to make him slow down and then he can begin his fight but it never happended. When dirrell won rounds they were because of clean hard counter punching that you could replay in slowmo. That sequence in one of the latter rounds where dirrell sits on the ropes and just ducks multiple shots by froch and counters with two massive lefts hooks of his own staggering froch shows the kind of talent dirrell has.
Dirrell was not active enough though in the earlier rounds and fought far too negatively considering the skills he possesed. Even considering that though, i though dirrell overall was the better fighter, and deserved the nod. I will however watch the fight again.

It was a dire performance from both fighters. Dirrell wouldn't fight with pitty-pat amateur bullshit and clinching, Froch couldn't fight because he didn't seem to have a gameplan beyond "I WILL CATCH UP WITH HIM"
He needs to listen to his trainer more. He should have had the hands up and bobbed and weaved to make Dirrell's speed and jab a non-issue. It would have also reduced his effectiveness from the southpaw stance.
Either way, Dirrell didn't deserve to win and neither did Carl. I'd give both a loss.
