Seeing Arthur Abraham last night coming in to the Scorpions 'live' got me thinking.
The biggest fight out there - Hatton v Khan. Wembly stadium with Oasis playing a set on a stage on the side and when Hatton comes in the Gallagher brothers doing their version of blue moon.
Maybe our Sport needs to form music alliances to get the cross over fans on board

I would also add 'The German way' appears to be getting your main event shown primetime in your own country rather than waiting through the night for the American TV which reduces your box office appeal at home

Good points mate, they seem to know what they are doing.
I fell in love with the "German way" when watching Vitali v Peter.
The Germans know their stuff.

Even on the Dunne fight there a couple of weeks ago. Fury came out to live singing from the Furys band for his fight. Dont get me wrong I like a bit of music but at times it can be a bit too much.

Then when the fight ended the boxing could start.

we need the lights, fireworks, music etc Always have done. Boxing is not a fight, it's a show. We wanted to be entertained. I'm a hardcore boxing fan who enjoys the science but you want the hype and frills - training videos, posters etc
Was it the ITV card a few weeks ago where a couple of random chavs were dancing in the ring?
