I didnīt score the fight rd by rd, but my feeling was that Dirrell outlanded Froch in almost every round, even hurt him a couple of times. Froch was given credit by the judges for ineffective aggressiveness.

As for Abraham-Froch. I think both have the power to stop the other one. The big difference is the defense. Abraham has a very good defence with his high guard, Froch on the other side fights without defence, just reying on his reflexes and awkwardness. If Dirrell and Taylor can hurt Froch, iīm sure Abraham can stop him. He just has to take care that Froch isnīt the one whoīs landing first.

I was disgusted by Dirrells "fighting" but he should have won. Froch is so slow and has no defence, amazing he got that far at SMW. I thought you can only get away with this "speed" at HW. I can't see how he can avoid getting KTFO by Abraham. You only stand a chance against AA if you can avoid getting hit and that's exactly what Froch can't do at all.

If Abraham doesn't KO Froch, I'll eat my hat. And I'm talking a sombrero, not a yarmulke.

No way I can see Froch going the distance. He is slower, less skilled, less mobile, and less powerful than Abraham. I tend to think that Arthur hits harder, and with how easy it is to hit Froch I cannot see how he will survive 12.

I had in favor of Froch 115:112. Dirrell was fighting very dirty. The guy has natural gifts but he was holding and moaning all night long. Turning his head and than complaining about Froch's punching behind the head. Someone should tell him that there is a difference between avoiding getting hit and running away from punches.

I voted AA by decision because I'm not sure if AA can crack Froch's wooden head. Froch could trouble AA a bit maybe because of his constant pressure which could make it difficult for AA to unload.

About the Dirrel fight, I scored it 9-3 Dirrell. It was not a beautiful contest, but as far as I could see, Dirrell landed the cleaner, crisper shots. And more of them as well.

There was actually one guy in the general forum who justified Froch's extremely dirty tactics because Dirrell was running:bart

I understand your irritation from the way Dirrell fought, but that doesn't justify the ref freely letting Froch:

- elbow Dirrell
- hit him behind the head
- put his glove in Dirrell's face
- hold Andre's head while hitting
- slam him onto the ground
- punch numerous times after the ref said ''break'' or ''stop''

I agree Dirrell fought annoying and irritating. But Froch resorting to the abovementioned tactics, and moreover the referee letting him, was scandalous imo.

I thinkg Froch and Abrham both have good power but Abraham has a defense and does not get caught as oftend so I am slightly favouring Abraham. One thing is for sure - this will not go the distance.

I will not try to justify Carl’s tactics. I agree that his hands were not clean too. However, I understand why he did some of the things. For example he took Andre down because he was holding him and thus blocking his inside fighting. I guess it is quite frustrating. Sometimes it looked like Carl was holding and hitting Andre at the same time but I think that it was caused by Andre holding. Also Andre kept his head even below the belt line and in a dangerous way in some occasions. I general I think that Andre did much more infringements and that point deduction was fair. His holding was really excessive. I think that even John Ruiz does less holding.

The bottom line is that I beleive that Andre did not deserve to get the decision.
